Nyx sends Zim to explore the crawlspace with order to return if danger is encountered. I will just check out the crawlspace while you attempt the alters. I will help if needed but do not like this trial and error approach with these riddles if there is no need or great reward that aids us in leaving here.
Nyx will alternate between communing with his familiar and checking on the others.

@Psybermagi please roll a d20 and a d6 for me. If you roll high enough I'll describe why. If not lucky... you will have just loose your connection to your familiar. Rolls

I will go back to the puzzle room and finish putting the remaining items on the altar while wearing the mask. If nothing happens, I will join the rest of the party.

Quote:
1. A frog-like behemoth uses its tentacles to help the Omuan people knock down a mighty statue. In the foreground, an old woman wearing a frog mask tosses five coins from her hand as though sowing seeds.2. A frog-like behemoth wraps its tentacles around a giant crocodile as Omuan hunters stab the crocodile with their spears. In the foreground, an old man wearing a frog mask holds a bug up to his open mouth.
3. A frog-like behemoth with four Omuan hunters riding on its back finds a small boy in the jungle. The hunters seem elated. In the foreground, a young woman wearing a frog mask holds a knife in one hand and a headless chicken in the other.
4. A frog-like behemoth wallows in a shallow pool as Omuans offer it urns of food and treasure as tribute. Cracks in the fresco obscure the head of the human figure in the foreground, but you can see that it grasps a lit candle.
Tante Lude gets the items back from Tinkara or the altar, wherever they are now. She goes over to the alter with the statue and puts on the frog mask. First, she lights the candle she found and places an offering of a food ration and 10 pieces of gold in front of the frog like statue. Then she takes the knife she found and cuts the head off one of the mummified rats. Then she picks up the dessicated insects and swallows one of them. Finally, she takes the 5 coins and tosses them out onto the tiles that had not lit up, trying to spread them over the remaining tiles (in a pattern if there are more than 5 not lit up).
She pauses to assess her actions.

OOC:
I assume 1. You only take items, not the money from the altar
2. You refer to the same candle that was already lighted up and the only way I could see you light it up again is by this:
But when she reaches into the copper bowl to retrieve rat bones all frescoes go dark, the bowl falls on the floor as Tante Lude is suddenly turned into a frog and spirits rise from the humanoid bones strewn across the floor beneath the masks.

Merde, when I went frog kissing I always thought it would work the other way and the frog would turn into a prince. Alright, Spirits to beat, let's hop to it.

OOC:
Everyone win enemy on initiative, so we have simple initiative order:1. All players
2. Enemy

I hope we don't need numbered grid, but I've numbered all viable front line squares you may want to occupy. So just write "moving to 2"
And refer to enemy1, enemy2, enemy3 and enemy4 when choosing target. Thanks.

Surprised to see a 'Frog' in the room, but at the same time notes Tante is messing. A bad guess says she needs a kiss.

observing the transformation of the paladin, a great ally against the undead, Nyx cast dispel magic (4th level) on the frog to return it to Tante's original form. As he does this he sends a telepathic message to the frog, hoping her mind is still intact enough to hear it.
Do not resist my spell, I am returning you to your human form.

Lude hops toward Nyx, hopefully getting behind the other members of the group. She isn't sure what effect frogdom has, but is pretty sure it's not a good one.
