Thanks for understanding. I was planning to have another encounter occur during the caravan journey, but I think I’ll just move things along to the city of Katapesh proper when I am able to post next. It will most likely be on Monday morning.

I apologize for my previous post. I decided to adapt an old Pathfinder Society module as a quest for this part of the adventure. Unfortunately, I didn't read the scenario too closely and catch the references to slavery and human trafficking. These themes were removed from the setting in more recent years, as they rightfully should have been. I've since deleted the post.

I'm happy to retcon the merchant's profession and avoid references to such things in the future. Or we can simply X-card the whole thing and I'll come up with an alternate quest you can undertake.

Hey, no problem. Let's retcon or X-card that scene. Also, before we directly approach the merchant, let's do a gather information roll to find his normal dealings and how we can leverage any information against him.

I generally don't have a problem of this being in the game, but rather as the people we fight rather than the people we work for.

I didn't see the previous post, well rather I saw it but didn't get a chance to read it. So no harm here. Not that there would have been were those themes in play. But I am all for X-Carding it for the sake of others :)
