I must say - we had another snow storm and I was out shoveling. Totally waiting for the bright light to take me away :)

I live in central Florida. Our highs today are in the mid-80s. XD

Southern Indiana here. Some snow yesterday, but it's already melting quite a bit. Nothing like the one that rolled through in early January.

Baltimore Maryland - honestly hasn't been horrible - but I'll take none :) We are just on the edge of that North/South line. Sometimes we get rough winters, sometimes we get nothing.

Alberta Canada I've heard is beautiful country out there, but you can keep your winters. And 40cm - even after I did the math into our non-metric system - I do not want that :)

Yeah we had a couple of days with -28C (-18 F) this winter but honestly we had a very mild winter so far. Even the snow fall amount was OK.

Yea I'm in Ontario Canada, and it's a winter storm so we'll see how that goes haha

Is anyone interested in maybe having a side forum for roleplay outside the main story line ? I think it would be useful for our PC to get to know each other without stopping the main story line ....just a thought

I usually like for RP and the plot to kinda blend together, personally. But I'm down for whatever if y'all are interested in it.

Question about a Monk skill:

Inner Upheaval - I think this was previously called Ki Strike.

You focus your qi into devastating magical attacks. Make an unarmed Strike or Flurry of Blows (this doesn't change the limit on using only one flourish per turn). You gain a +1 status bonus to your attack rolls with the Strikes, and the Strikes deal 1d6 extra damage. This damage can be any of the following types of your choice, chosen each time you Strike: force, spirit, vitality, or void.

Heightened (+4) the extra damage increases by 1d6.


Does this take a separate action from the Flurry of Blows? reading it seems like it does not - just a switch you activate when you do the normal flurry action.

Yes, as part of casting it, you make your Flurry of Blows attack, so no separate action is required.

By the way, I hope everybody is enjoying the fast pace of the game so far. It shows that you all are invested in it. Of course, I don’t expect it to always be this way. Especially on weekends, when I usually am unable to post much, if at all. :)

I know I've been looking to this game first if I only have a couple of minutes to post. Been having a great time - well until about 3 minutes ago :P
