Lol ...the character sheet does most for you when you enter level 2
You have to manually change your HP ... for Monk it's 10+con i think
Your AC goes up by 1 and so does your attack bonus

Since your proficiency level goes up it's 2+ level for trained ...so 4 /if you are trained or 4+ level for expert so 6

But the character sheet does the proficiency bonuses automatically...just if you want to double check..... as a Rogue I can upgrade a skill and i can confirm the math works there lol

You also get a skill feat and a class feat

I don't even know what an archetype is lol. Trying to decide on my skill feat and it's tough. I really like Group Impression, Impressive Performance, and Intimidating Glare.

Archetype..... think of D&D multiclassing but better. Especially free Archetypes you get to level up your class and the Archetype at the same time. Honestly it's very common for the GM to allow those ....

All of those skill feats are great ..... I chose them by how I see my characters..... Novac is a thief first and foremost...it's in his DNA so that's how I chose.

Anything that invokes fear is good by the way ...lol that has an effect on almost all abilities one of the worst condition to have ...I mean all conditions are bad ....but fear affects almost everything including AC

I think I'll pass on the free archetype. I already have enough options to choose from and I'm not seeing how to add them to Pathbuilder anyway.

If you choose not to take a free archetype, I'll allow you to choose a bonus class feat every two levels, if you can figure out how to do that in Pathbuilder!

Hmm, I've been looking through and I think I can only add Free Archetype or custom feat choices by paying for it.

The Archetype is only at the paid option. However it is only a one time payment..... if you don't want to spend the money I will refer you to. wanderersguide.app ...there everything is free but in the beginning you have to go through checkboxes of what you want to allow. I didn't mention it before as it is not as comfortable to use.

Under variant rules you have to enable "free Archetype" and under options you will have to enable "Alternate Ancestry boosts" once you did that it works and is 100% free.... it is a little more cumbersome than Pathbuilder but again 100% free

he explains archetypes in 7 minutes lol unless you can ignore the parts where you replace class feats with archetype stuff in 6:20 he explains the free version .....but still check out the video as he makes good points

I went ahead and bought the Pathbuilder upgrade. Still gonna pass on the archetypes, but I figured out how to add the bonus class feats in their place so gonna do that. :)
