Two Reflex saves for the fire then one Fortitude save for the sonic damage. All are basic saves, so no damage on a critical success, half damage on a success, full damage on a failure, and double damage on a critical failure.
Sheeeesh, that's a lot of damage. Crit failing the Fortitude sucked for sure. I knew there'd be friendly fire, but didn't expect that. I thought casting the spell was fitting since it was her first activation of the cursebound condition and literally finding herself on fire.
Lol don't worry about it. One of my characters once died because because my buddy tried to heal me and crit failed rolled an 8 on the damage too. And he literally killed me because I was on dying 3 lol..........however Novac will have something to say about that lol.....if he survives.....being at less than half damage after round one .....not so sure about his survival chances
@Dmbrainiac fun coincidence o recently red the players guide for the AP Strength of the Thousands which takes place at the Magic school so it's nice to actually have a character there.
Season of Ghosts is fantastic! Strength of Thousands has lots of good stuff, but large sections in the middle drag and there’s lots of unrelated plots without a whole lot of connection between books.
Edgewatch is really good... up until the end of book 5. Everything that happens in book 6 seems random and has little to do with anything that came before it. When I ran it, we wrapped up after the book 5 finale. :D
I see, we’re just getting to the end of book 1 so spirits still high. It’s also everyone’s first time playing Pf2e so it’s been fun figuring it all out

The group had the choice between Edgewatch and seasons of the ghost
. I am happy with their choice
