[Closed] OSR - Mörk Borg : Malista's Mansion

General Info

Even though this game is about a harsh world where death and despair are ever present, I run my games lightheartedly. This means that comedy will always be lurking behind death's door. This will not be a sad and depressing series of events with an eventual deadly ending. It will be a rollercoaster of dread and fun with an always present chance of death.

Post Frequency & Commitment

Frequency of posts will be 3 a week. This means every player is expected to make at least 1 post every 2 days. The game is meant as a one-shot that I expect to take about 3 to 4 months.

What is Expected from The Players

I'm looking for individuals who are willing to put others in the spotlight and add their personality into the world of Mörk Borg. The game will tend to be quite dungeon crawly with some RP possibilities mixed in.

Chances are that your character will die. So, don't come up with a 7 page backstory for your 2HP character 😁. If anyone dies, they can just roll a new character and rejoin. This also means that I will not be throwing punches and neither should the players!

Not for the faint of heart. Blood and gore will be around. I will try to stay away from heavy themes like child abuse, but expect there to potentially be suicidal thoughts/actions, depressed NPCs and abusive relationships.

Who can Apply?

Anyone is welcome! Doesn't matter if you're a veteran or completely new, as long as you can stick with the commitments above. This game is friendly to LGBT and any other minorities or marginalized groups.

How to Apply

Just leave a comment here expressing your interest. I'll leave it open until the 22nd. Aiming to start the week after. There are 5 spots. In case of more than 5 applications, I'll roll randomly from them.

About Me

I'm an experienced GM who likes to let the players lead the story. I'm quite loose on rulings, usually putting coolness factor above realism (to a certain extent). I don't tend to use combat grids but defaut to theater of the mind instead.

Hi! I love Mörk Borg! So I'd love to get in on this.

Would love to play more Mork Bork, had one stint playing with Harrigan as a fill in for lost players. It was the final chapter, so I barely had a chance to get my head around it.

I've never played Mork Borg, but I've seen a lot of people talking about it here on the forums, so I'm interested in giving it a try. :)

Small bump on this game. There are still 2 slots left, but 3 is enough to get started.

I didn't want to take up a slot that others might want as I am already in one OSR newbie game, but if no one claims the last 2 spots, I'd be happy to take one! Mork Borg sounded interesting and seems very popular.
