As you make your way through the dangling, live wires, you go to dodge one and end up backing into another. It's all you can do not to flinch and hop your way through several more. There may be screaming though, as the electricity ripples through you.
OOC:
You are Fatigued 1. What this means is that when you take any sort of action that requires a check, you'll roll a d6 after it resolves. On a 6, you mark off one Fatigue.
Apr 16, 2025 5:09 pm
Once you're on the other side, though, you're standing in front of the door to the Workshop. All you have to do is to walk through.
OOC:
Giving Joms a bit of a cushion to catch up if he can take it. If not, I'll roll his check and saves for him unless he indicates that he doesn't want to go with you.
Apr 16, 2025 5:47 pm
Seth tries to navigate the hazards.

Seth, on the other hand, though he gets a small jolt, seems to manage it just fine, his control over his reaction ensuring that he doesn't accidentally run in to any of the other dangling wires.

In a few moments, you're both standing there in front of the door to the workshop, and it slides open slowly with a stutter. The room beyond is not well-lit, but there's enough light to give the hulking six-limbed man(thing) standing at a makeshift burner a very menacing shadow that hides his features. He turns to you with a growl. It's not clear if it's meant to be a warning or a welcome.
Apr 22, 2025 10:18 am
Bob holds his gun, ready to pull it out if (more likely, when) needed. He might have expected some sort of big muscle bouncer-type, so the hulking shape is not really surprising. What he did not expect was this bouncer to have 2 extra... arms? How much radiation are these workers exposed to?

Noticing how Seth seems to deal very well with explosive traps and electric shocks, and the fact that he is not made of un-repairable organic matter, Bob slowly take cover behind the android... moving closer to the door, which can be securely closed again, he hopes...

"Hello, it seems we got a bit lost on our way to the toilets. I'm guessing the android here has a defect in its location system" Bob probes how approachable the potential deadly beast is by coming up with the worse possible excuse to be in the wrong (clearly restricted) area of the station.
Apr 22, 2025 3:22 pm
This hulking figure is clearly not the same person as the slender individual you saw on the tape. He's also got too many arms. One of the hands, though - monstrous in size as they are - might be a good fit for the handprint you saw on the inside of the vent at the crime scene.

It turns to face you, an odd smile plastered on it's face. Perhaps it can't not smile. It holds a large bowl of soup in two of its hands, apparently oblivious to the heat.

His voice is slow and sonorous, but it's clear its difficult for him to speak. "You... did not come... down here loo-king for toy-lets. Did you come for... sooop?"
Apr 22, 2025 8:29 pm
Seth remains silent and still throughout the interaction and perfectly still.
Apr 23, 2025 9:25 am
"Toy-lets? Ah no no, I meant the kitchen yes... Soooop" Bob nervously changes his story. The hulking beast sound stupid like, well, an hulking beast, but at least its not immediately aggressive. "What sooooop is it?"
Apr 23, 2025 6:52 pm
"I am... not slow. It hurts me to... talk. You can talk... nor-mull-ee. It is un-ee-on. I think. The box he.. gave me was a mix. You can.. make one if you want." He indicates the large box in the corner. One side of the box is soaked in something thick and red. "He will not... give me boxes ever... again... will he?"
Apr 28, 2025 10:14 am
"Un-ee-on is my favourite. Let' me see if there is some more..." Bob slowly moves to check the box in the corner, making conversation as casually as he manages to. "Aaa, Seth, would you like to check ... this as well?" he discreetly points out the red substance in the box for the android to see.

"You got some nice mix here. You say he won't give you more boxes? Why would he not? Is the station having supplies issues? Maybe we can talk with the administration?" Bob asks, trying not to thing too much about why he will not be able to give this thing more soup...
Apr 28, 2025 11:54 pm
Seth examines the goo, though he was nearly certain that it was what happened to a human when struck by a heavy crate at high velocity. He could know for certain.

Rolls

Medicine - (4d10h2+1)

(4325) + 1 = 10

Apr 29, 2025 4:38 pm
The red is smeared on the box, as if wiped there by whoever was handling the box. There's more dried red on the thing's hand. But it's on the inside of his hand, on his palm, as if he were holding something that were already bloody. There's none elsewhere on his body as there would be if blood had spattered.

"No... It is not that he refuses... He cannot. He is... dead now. I think. I saw him... lying there... very still. He was... my friend."
May 1, 2025 9:22 am
Dead? This this thing say DEAD? "Well, I... I guess if that's, mmm the case, then yes, it might be difficult for... hi, him to yes, help." Bob struggles to keep the conversation as he feels a weakness in his knees. This creature looks like it could very easily do to him, whatever was done to ... Adam...

"Did you, did you try to wake him? Maybe he was just sleeping?" Well... probably not if he had already lost his head...
May 1, 2025 3:25 pm
"I knew he was dead. So much... blood. And he was missing his... head. It is hard to live without a head."
May 2, 2025 10:26 am
"I think you are right yes, not easy to live without a head. That's true" Yes, the creature did mention the head... Maybe it knows a bit more about what happened...

"So... do you... do you know how your friend... well, how he lost his head?"
OOC:
For a moment I though maybe this guy was the one on camera, but I guess it doesn't fit the description of a "a slender figure walks in, just as Adam manages to pull himself to his feet."
