General rules of conduct

-Please try to work together with your other party members. A little in-party tension can be fun, but don't create a war.
-I've given everyone 4 possible characters. That should be enough to see you through the adventure. Don't see this as an excuse to be wasteful. Though, this makes heroic self-sacrifices a valid option.
-Swearing is not an issue.

GM rules:
-A 20 or a 1 on a D20 roll will always do something special, either positive or negative.
-You can't use an omen to reroll a reroll.

If you think that the action your character is doing in a post requires a roll, feel free to add it. The DR is almost always 12.
STR - Anything to do with raw power
AGI - Anything to do with stealth, speed or finesse
PRE - Anything to do with charm, intimidation, perception or thinking
TOU - Anything to do with endurance
I'm usually pretty lenient on which skill to use. As long as you can justify using the one you picked, I'm on board.

Important: Sometimes, depending on the RP situation, I might just let you get away with it without a roll. So if you're doubting if it needs a roll or not, I would suggest not adding one. If you do roll, then the rolled outcome will count even if I wouldn't have called for one.

Using Omens.

You can use omens for the following things:
- Deal max damage with an attack.
- Reduce incoming damage by 1d6
- Neutralize a crit or fumble
- Lower the DR of a check by 4
- Reroll any die (Yes, any!)

I don't often describe all the small details of a room. Therefore:

Players are welcome to use objects that would logically be nearby.

For example: a kitchen will likely have a pot or a ladle somewhere, a bedroom will have a sheet, ...

Combat rules:
Quote:
Within your turn you can do anything that's reasonable to be about 10 seconds.
Melee attacks are DR12 strength
Ranged is DR12 presence
Powers are also still DR12 presence. Remember you only get a certain amount per day.
Monsters don't roll to hit, instead the PC has to roll to defend/dodge with a DR12 agility.

If you're reduced to 0 HP you are broken and have to roll a d4 to see how bad it is.
If you're reduced to a negative number, you are dead.

Crits are double damage or on a defend, you get a free attack.
Fumbles mean you lose/break you weapon or on a defend are double damage for the opponent

When a PC crits a monster or fumbles a dodge from a monster, on top of the double damage. Armor tier is also reduced by 1.
Armor that is reduced to tier 0 is useless.
