Indeed, Master Sildar. Let us do so. Then let us pool our information and findings and decide what it is we must do next, says Alex, only slightly larcenously thinking of the near fortune in trade goods left in the cave. Would providing the Farshield Coster their location result in a reward? Visions of electrum coins danced in Alex's vision.

Tatiana is eager to find comfort in Phandalin's accommodations, as any hint of civilization is better than the rugged wilderness. She particularly looks forward to a good bath and change of clothes.

But first, there is the matter of Gundren's condition. Tatiana helps Ammos bring the blind dwarf down from the wagon and to wherever he might find treatment.

Raven walks in the muddy streets with the oxen, guiding them occasionally, but mostly the team knows what they are doing and avoids things.

To the oxen, "Almost there. We just have to find the inn and then we'll get you guys a nice meal."

Trakomak not sure if anyone expect him to participate "secure lodgings" , but politely wait for everyone and help with anything if needed. He prefer to visit the inn in company to avoid the any issues his outlook may cause.

[ +- ] Map
You travel south at Sildars prompting to find the Inn. Near the center of town stands a large, newly built roadhouse of fieldstone and rough-hewn timbers. It is marked as Stonehill Inn.

Tatiana pays little attention to the surrounding area as she guides Ammos in bringing Gundren to the inn. "Safe lodging will soon expedite your recovery, Master Rockseeker," she says.
Mar 19, 2025 11:31 am
Seeing a location for provisions, Raven realizes he has no idea where the wagon is being delivered. Originally the plan was to reach the town an find Master Rockseeker, but with him already in the group and injured, things had changed dramatically. He focused on guiding the team deciding that business would be figured out eventually.

He looked around the streets as they past, a farmer come to a new town. - Phandalin. It was bigger than his home village, although most things were. Still small though.

Assuming there is a stable, Tatiana directs Raven to guide the oxen and find a place for the wagon. She peeks into the cargo area and asks, "Decklan, will you be staying with the cart again, or will we be securing lodging for you inside?"

She accepts whatever answer is given and proceeds into the Stonehill Inn to speak to the proprietor.
Mar 19, 2025 4:35 pm
"I'll stay with the delivery until it's properly delivered. Hate to fail the job this close to the end," Decklan grumbles, looking around and settling back into his seat.
Mar 19, 2025 6:35 pm
Trakomak silently follows Tatiana and anyone else who is heading toward the Inn.

Raven waited patiently with the oxen team until lodging and stables were arrange.

Sildar Hallwinter
Stepping down from the cart Sildar turns to help Gundren. "The supplies, cart, and oxen are bound for Barthen’s Provisions. I saw their sign as we entered town. If you lot want to deliver it, after we secure lodgings."

Toblen Stonehill
The common room is filled with locals nursing mugs of ale or cider, all of them eyeing you with curiosity. At the bar is a middle-aged human man with salt and pepper hair and beard. He smiles brightly at you all as you enter. It takes him a moment, but after that moment he recognizes Gundren and his smile widens. "Gundren, welcome back to town. Where are you're brothers tonight? Who are you're new friends?"

Gundren Rockseeker
Gundren’s head turns to the voice. Though the pinched look on his face relaxes a little at the familiar voice he doesn’t smile as he once would have. "Toblen, my brothers are still at our claim. These new friends have helped me bring supplies and… saved my life."

Toblen Stonehill
Toblen’s eyes go wide, he examines Gundren and you all more closely. "I’m thinking it’s a long story. How’s about you tell me about it after you’ve eaten and rested."

Sildar Hallwinter
Sildar who is standing behind Gundren, keeping watch as Ammos and Tatiana guide the dwarf, nods. "Food and rest are very much needed." He raises a hand in greetings, "Sildar Hallwinter, Lords Alliance."

Toblen Stonehill
With a nod, "Toblen Stonehill, this is my Inn." Toblin turns to each of you in turn, waiting from you to introduce yourselves.
Mar 20, 2025 4:33 pm
As the introductions are being made, Tatiana is suddenly very aware of her appearance. So caught up in the perilous journey and mindful of the surrounding dangers, she didn't even consider sparing a few hours for her own self-care. Perhaps it is no wonder that the adventurer taverns in Waterdeep were as grubby as they were.

No matter. Tatiana pulls her shoulders back and straightens into her noble upbringing. Smoothing out the mud-encrusted folds of her soiled skirt and tucking a tangled hair behind her ear, she approaches the proprieter. "Master Stonehill, a pleasure," she begins. Knowing that her brother is busy with Gundren, she continues with a gesture towards the dragonborn, "May I present Ammos Grifstone of Waterdeep? I am his younger sister, Tatiana. We look forward to your accommodations." She finishes with a slight curtsy.
Mar 20, 2025 4:50 pm
Perhaps sensing the anxious presence behind her and knowing of Raven's shyness, Tatiana continues. "With us is Trakomak, whom you see here. Others in our company include Decklan and Raven, who are securing the supplies destined for Barthen's Provisions."

She steps aside to allow Alex his opportunity to fill the conversation with his usual flourish.
Mar 20, 2025 8:04 pm
Yes, Trakomak. Me half-orc looks around nervously. Me... Ale ... Two mugs of ale, please. How much?
Mar 21, 2025 12:49 am
Raven nodded as Sildar mentioned Barthen’s Provisions, looking back up the street. Knowing that oxen did not really backup well, Raven looked ahead to the open area past the inn. "Very well. I'll turn the boys around up there and head back to the provisions."

Nudging the team back to a walk, "Just a little bit more and we'll get all this delivered." there was a big short from one of the oxen "Yes, I know we passed it..."

Toblen nods, and smiles, to each of Tatiana’s introductions. "Ale’s 4 copper a piece." He looks to Alex, with the same welcoming smile, awaiting his name.

"At least you've got the good sense to finish the job, kid," Regan says approvingly to Raven from his seat on the cart.

As he rides, he'll keep an eye out for a temple or any sign of where a Cleric might be found.
Mar 21, 2025 3:29 pm
Raven as you guide the cart to a clear place to turn it around you garner the notice of the handful of children playing on the town green. Two of the older ones come rushing over, carful of the ox but grinning up at you. A shaggy dog on their heels. One of the boys, the one with dark hair, is a human, the second is a halfling. The halfling seems a bit more shy.

Pip Stonehill
"Hello!" The dark haired boy says when they arrive next next to you. "Is this your cart? Aren’t your Ma and Pa with ya?" The boys don’t see Decklan in the back of the wagon.
