Curtis tries to quickly deactivate his particle thrower once he realizes they are firing at Niles! Then he notices a young child wearing AJ's jumpsuit and holding her particle thrower.
"Huh?!?" he says. Then he catches sight of the demon amongst them and turns toward it. He tries to fire off his beam again.

Niles snaps awake, not realizing he had passed out from the pain. Smoke wafts off his tweed jumpsuit. "Did...did you shoot me?!" He shakes his head and adjusts his glasses. "Uh, my head. I'm sure you had a good reason. Where is everyone...?" Then he sees them all blasting King Ghost Pepper. "Ah, right. Eat my Scoville sprayer!"

Singed tweed fabric stings the nostrils, as Niles goes down. You think you see his skeleton through his skin for a second, as he is lit up by quickly-diverted particle throwers for half a second.
The demon raises its hands, as you surround it like the points on a pentagram. Water bursts out of the sprinkler system all of a sudden. A familiar ringing, to Curtis at least, engulfs the big box store, as the alarm thrills. An unnatural amount of water gushes down, making it hard to see very far in front of you. You catch the demon with your beams, but the water puts a dampener even on your particle throwers.
The demon sizes up Jasper, as it was his beam that managed to catch it in the lower back this time, and brings an unexpectedly heavy hand up against the man. A powerful backhand…
Once Jasper is done, everyone is back up! This round should do it. It’s got a chunky amount of health, and you’ve only been barely chipping it so far!

Jasper gets whacked, actually whacked by the Harbinger of Chaos and… it’s not that bad! The man had dealt with worse in his time.
Is this all Abaddon could conjure?…
A torrent of Big Box Store based puns, and particle throwers, both hit the chaos demon at the same time. The Harbinger hadn’t reckoned on such dedicated, and quippy, resistance in the Bullseye store.
One beam connects. Then another, and another, and another and another until the demon was being strung up like some marionette on a supermarket stage. It tries to break free, but it’s held fast at each limb. Its head tries to jerk free of the final beam, as you drag it ever closer to the Ethereal Squad emblazoned trap on the floor. It’s no use. Stuff as a five pointed star, the green harbinger is forced into the cage, and the lid is slammed shut.
A hammering comes from the other side, just as soon as the beams are loosened, but it’s too late. The water stops spurting from the alarm system immediately, and you can finally look around at a demon-free, though soggen Bullseye store.
Lucas, the manager, stands nearby like a miserable, drowned rat. Water soaks through his polo shirt, and down his face from his slick fringe.
Silence reigns over the store for a moment at least. The Ethereal Squad had done it. Their first big job… and a success!

Abby notices the demon’s age-reversal has worn off. "Who’s still a genius all grown up."
She smiles awkwardly at Lucas.
