A familiar ringing, to Curtis at least, engulfs the big box store, as the alarm thrills. An unnatural amount of water gushes down, making it hard to see very far in front of you. You catch the demon with your beams, but the water puts a dampener even on your particle throwers.
The demon sizes up Jasper, as it was his beam that managed to catch it in the lower back this time, and brings an unexpectedly heavy hand up against the man. A powerful backhand…
