Then it comes to a stop right in front of Abby’s slime thrower; the slime within concocted to catch little gremlins just like this one. Something in the chemistry made it more viscous, and not at all like the slime these things usually liked to sloop around in.

The Chaos Demon lifts into the air, thick globules of slime slicking down to the clothes-strewn floor as it floats. The particle throwers hold it aloft, until the final too streams are added. A whirring, high pitched whine begins to ring out and the chaos demon lets loose a mischievous laugh.

An explosion of noise, and then slime and then the entire clothing section springs to life. Gaudy outfits begin to assemble themselves and cause havoc about the store. Empty pairs of jeans take off, accompanied by a tuxedo jacket, to overturn some shopping carts near the front of the store.

It’s only once the things have raced off to the four corner of the store, do you notice that chaos demon slipped away in the chaos…
