How are we handling diagonal distances? 7.5' or 5/10/5 ?

In 5th edition they're all 5', even moving diagonally. This is known to cause math nerds to lose their collective shit. 🤣

Nothing like the Pack Tactics creatures gettiong natural 20's on their initiative rolls while ya'll are rolling like wet noodles. 🪦

Do ya'll like it when I use copious amounts of notes so that you get to decide, as the player, how to present the information found? Or would you rather I use fewer notes and post it up for everyone to see?

While I'm thinking about it:

If I could get everyone to give me a list of three or four magic items that are appropriate for this campaign (levels 1 to 5ish), please post up here and I'll see what I can do about sprinkling some of them throughout the game. I'll add them to The Party so we can keep track and not have it all buried here in the OOG stuff.

Notes are fine. It pushes for more character interaction
