OOC:

Please note I explicitly exluded weapons and armor from the things available from the mundane list. Ropes? Yes. A tent? Sure. Fishing pole? Yes. Armor? No. Definitely no poisons, either. This is stuff like camping gear. The town is helping out, but they still need weapons and armor for themselves and it's not like they have a surplus, seeing as almost no one comes up this way to trade.

I'll let you guys get some bolts and arrows, though. That's fine.

For a rogue, might I suggest some flasks of oil and some caltrops? You can do some cool stuff with those. :D

If any of you have a good argument against my judgement, feel free to PM me, I'm happy to try to hash stuff out or better explain my position.

Johan will pick up a tent and some cooking gear. He will also grab a climbing kit and a healing kit. He will then wait on the others to head out.

I will prepare for our journey, and will be ready shortly.
Kethra peruses the magical items with hands calloused from winters toil, yet also lithe with gentle elven grace.

OOC:

Kethra will equip the Scout’s Horn, unless someone else wants to equip it. Somehow it seems to fit her character well.
Kethra will also acquire winter clothing, a healer’s kit, a second pouch, a tinderbox, and a (2-person) tent.

Does anyone else find it interesting, the Explorer’s Pack’s items exceed the weight capacity of the Backpack (even with rope attached outside of it)?

Leta already had winter gear and save a few coins for other stuff. Leta can cast light cantrips. Handy being human. Guidance & Sacred Flame too.

*Marked in Red as kinda special and might need GM approval.

Can give an extra tinderbox & 50' hempen rope to counsel.

As Leta is shifting through the healing potions, they notice that there are exactly one for each of you. Thorgrim bites his lip before saying, "we can't give you everything we have, but we can spare a potion each. You're our lifeblood out there."

Y'all have six total healing potions available. Hand them out as you wish.

Nelli looked around as the others squirrelled away supplies and equipment. She had some basic gear and rations she could bring along with her, and she wasn't sure how much more she'd be able to carry out in the wilds. But she found the smallest tent available, some crossbow bolts and a healing potion. And the winterlight lantern. The others had their blades and bows and shields. Her hands would probably be the most free. That would have to be enough packing for her.

If you can't carry someone else's burden, at least make sure you pull your own. As grandpa Amberwhistle would have said.

I want to make sure that we have a correct count of equipment. I approved one total flask of Alchemists fire for you so unless you got another one somewhere from a background or class feature, you shouldn't have two. The other stuff you asked for is all approved, though.

They'll be like 1.5-man tents where there is room for you and your gear. Several of you picked up "two-man" tents, which I'm going to equate to 3-man tents for two people and their gear. I'm not super worried about tents as long as there is "lodging" for all of you.

If there are antitoxin and acid Kish will grab 1,2 as well, was not sure if that qualified as "camping gear"

After stowing the gear and hefting his pack, and secondary sack Kish somewhat staggers under the weight. Though not the largest or toughest Kish is still of the Outlands so silently acknowledges the weight is worth the help it will grant in surviving the winter storms and other challenges they will face. Turning to his companions he shifts closer to Nelie, with whom he is most comfortable and familiar, he looks to those known more for their traveling the wilds and asks
Do we need anything else or are there things we should do before leaving? I think it would be a good idea to appoint a leader for while we travel before setting out. Johan or Leta are likely the most familiar with the wilds. Though the road to Myrefall is likely the fastest way to reach the place it is also likely to be watched if these Leshen have any intelligence, so we will nedd to leave any well known trails or roads before then. But when and where? and he looks to the ranger and cleric

The vials of antitoxin are fine with me. The local apothecary will probably grumble a bit as you deplete their stash, but they understand the imporantance of your mission.
