Welcome to gamersplane.com
May not be what you are looking for but I GM in a couple games.
[ +- ] Tiny Invitation
I have been here a bit and thought I could help out some of the newcomers. I created a campaign,
A Tiny Intro, for people new to the site, RPG, and/or play by post. Games looking to recruit can be checked out in the
Tavern, including
my game.
The campaign is in a fantasy setting and uses
TinyD6, a rules lite system that is simple and quick to learn. I typically bring players into the game on their own, though may group them if multiple start near the same time, and walk you through some of the site and TinyD6 mechanics. This lets you post as much or as little as you like. If you are interested you can apply to the game
here or just message me. Once you have played through the intro you are welcome to stick around a while, move on, or migrate your character to other games.
If not, no worries, I'll see you around.
[ +- ] Lilac Veil, a West Marched D&D 5e campaign
A mysterious lilac-colored portal has opened in the Market District of the capitol city of Calindor. The guard have been keeping a close eye on it for months, waiting to see if anything comes out. Nothing has but many brave or foolish individual and teams have passed through. All that can be determined of their fate is that they are alive so the king has offered a bounty to any who can return with additional information.
Taking this opportunity you step through the portal into into the courtyard of a large fortified keep. However, as you do you can't seem to remember why you are here in the first place. The keep appears to be old but those who have gone through before have been rebuilding it and the community is continuing to grow as more and more people seem to keep coming through the portal. But now, the portal won't return any back through to the other side.
Welcome to Beyond the Lilac Veil: an expansive multi-GM West Marches style game.
[ +- ] What is a West Marches Game?
Create character
For those who don't know, a West Marches style game is one built on exploration, collaboration, cooperation, and the knowledge that creatures you face may be far too powerful for you right now and may need to be faced another day. Or perhaps a certain door or puzzle cant be completed until you get something from a different location and have to return.
Now when I say collaboration, that is because West Marches games tend to have multiple people running the game: multiple adventures happening at the same time in the same world. Through talking to other PC's you can learn more about the world and what structures and locations are about. Perhaps you all collaborate to start building a map of where you are.
Posting frequency will be based on whatever the DM sets in their posts on the Notice Board.

For the most part, I'd be giving you free reign of your adventure. This is a collaborative game so I'd allow you to have some say on how the world works and what wheeling and dealing is going on in the shadows. I'd have the final say on those things just in case. The same would go for any magic items. I don't want some uber powerful item being used by player-friend and it starts an inter-player war.
