Okay, so I'm going to copy/paste the whole latest session and that should be enough to get us rolling. Since GP doesn't have a specific Wiki option and I use that pretty heavily I might look at off-site options, and we'll just have role-play and an OOC thread. It seems like I have permission to post as any of your PCs, so please get them up ASAP so that I can rebuild the thread.

I don't love the idea of inline OOC but... I think we're gonna have to work that way. I don't want to be trying to pair up two threads. Shame no one else has realised how awesome TK's fliptiles are :(

I see there's an OOC setting, so that might have to be the way to go.

Anyway, welcome all. We'll be up an running next week.

Now, it's not the moment now but quite soon we'll be in a good story position to add a player or two, but I officially defer that decision to my players. Would you like to see if there's anyone who's a good fit in our new home, or would you rather stick with our current group?

Birthright fans are rare and precious, so if there are any around it'd make sense to see if they're interested and compatible, in my opinion.

Notifies you of new posts in a thread/forum. For some reason it's letting me subscribe to the SoVI OOC but not the HitH one. But I am getting notification emails from both, so... eh?

Okay all, I think RHM got lost in the move. They're probably in one of these boxes, but you know what packing's like.

I don't have a ton of time this week, but if we don't have a Tovrunn by the weekend I'll probably create an NPC Doppelganer and get the thread finished and try to get us rolling again.

In the meantime we picked up a local! Please say hi to LloganTamm. I've asked for some time to get the wiki up before they make any character decisions, but that's no reason not to chat.

I might go fishing for one more, see if there are any other lovers of the setting on GP, but I'm mindful that most people see 4 players and a DM as the sweet spot so I won't add more than 1 more for the time being.

Hello Everyone!

As John said, I'm playing under the name of Llogan Tamm. He is a character in a Classic Traveler game I'm playing.
My RL name is Shawn. I started my RPG habit with the boxed sets of D&D and Start Frontiers, the sci-fi game put out by TSR.
I'm new to 5e & Birthright but I can read so I have. I'm not a rules lawyer. I love RP. I've read some examples of the posts & I'm excited to join.
I asked John what type of character would be helpful the party. He suggested some magic. I've roughed out a Cleric & a Sorceress. The name is the same just different classes.
I will submit the characters for approval when John is ready. I will be playing a single character.
On a personal note, I live in the SE USA with my wife and two cats. We don't have children. I knew when my wife accepted my gaming that I had found the right woman!

Welcome, Llogan! We have two fighters, a priest of the goddess of sea and mourning and a druid of the god of forests at the moment, but given the important social and social role of priests in Birthright and the fact 5e can tolerate some class overlap either of those ideas would be good. Or perhaps they could be cross-pollinated; a cleric of, or sorceress devoted to, the god of magic and secrets?

Thanks for the ideas, Dirigible. I'm not wedded to a concept yet so I'm definitely open to ideas from the current players & DM. If John allows multi-class, the Cleric/Sorceress sounds quite feasible.

Are we using the gods from Birthright or 5e?
I recall the DM saying we weren't using 2e rules. Are we playing with bloodlines?

We are. I've tweaked a 5e adaptation that is... kind of average, but presumably playtested a damn site more than anything I'd come up with from scratch - big reason I wanted you to hold your roll till the wiki's up. Bloodlines are optional, but I haven't made much effort to balance unblooded characters with blooded ones.

We're just waiting on our last player getting a character up so I can sock-puppet the rest of the current thread. Then I'll fill you in on how I'll intro you in a DM.
