Hi, Folks!
This is an idea of mine for a relatively "straightforward" kind of "mission-oriented, shoot-em-up" game (although I don't have a problem with it changing into something more character driven) involving fighting against fascists and their organizations. It would be contemporary (although names would likely be changed), but I'm undecided on how realistic it would be eg whether or not actual magic would be a real thing.
For a system, I'm leaning strongly towards Alternity, mainly because I have the books and a basic familiarity with the system and am interested in using the kind of "graduated" skill-success system it has (without it getting too "colourful" eg Marvel FASERIP). However, I very much believe in the random-generation of attribute stats, so I'd use the system for it that Alternity provides.
Group size would have to be small; this could be anywhere from one to six players, each with one PC (maybe more; I don't normally allow that in my games, but, given how often violence would be a part of this game and how relatively "non-simple" character creation is, I wouldn't be averse to multiple PCs so everyone would always be able to get back into the action relatively quickly).
Posting speed would tend to be on the slow and erratic side (for me, at least: I've already got one PbP game, and I've found it more difficult and tiring as I've gotten older to GM regularly and have a life, too).
Questions? Takers?
