That pushes Martin beyond the threshold so now enters Indefinite Insanity. Unlike Temporary Insanity, there is no Intelligence save, you immediately enter a Bout of Madness[ +- ] Indefinite Insanity
Physical hysterics or emotional outburst: The investigator is incapacitated from laughing, crying, screaming, etc. for 1D10 rounds (Your choice based on how you think Martin would naturally behave.

Rita scrambles, looking for something to throw, laying her hands on a bladed letter opener. Launching it with all her strength, it thuds into the back of Gardiner's neck. As it hits, the spirals across his body burn with a blue light, everywhere except the head and neck.
OOC:
Ok damage of a small knife is 1d4+damage bonus. Rita is pretty strong, so has a db of +1d4. as a crit and this is an impaling weapon, you get max damage + a damage roll for the weapon, so effectively you are doing 1d4+8 damage!

Bruno's vision clears, adrenaline kicking in as he sees the creature stumble back from the letter opener. Still unsure of what to do, he falls back on what comes naturally. He tries to sock the creature straight in the jaw.
