I dont think I played it knowing more than what might be visually obvious. If shes figuring it out. It might show over someone who cant pick anything out. No idea what she pulled from it.

I wish post preview updated to show when people have posted more. I was working on my post as everyone acted. Twice now I've needed to add a bit more after things progressed. Also, I cant seem to delete posts. Is that a setting or am I missing the option?

It's a game setting. I got really annoyed in another game as a player removed his dice roll, so I do this in all my games now. You can edit but not delete your posts. But don’t worry, just edit the content to "Remove this" or similar and I will delete your post when I see it.

Thank you for your understanding.

It's just annoying to hit post and see that not only has the scene moved from the point I wrote for, but also a result of that move has occurred. Gonna try using email notification to get a heads up on posts while I'm writing responses. I don't mind that people are active, just used to discord notification popping up and telling me so I could adjust in the drafting phase.

Huh, apparently I'm not getting emails for subscribed threads. Guess I'll just have to manually check before posting. Not a huge deal. Just a loss of convenience.

@Gearspark may I share my opinion, hope it could help you feel better. There is 51% change to pass a 2d6 tests in this system. I think we need to expect quite a lot of tests rolled without advantage to fail. I believe you passed 2 our of four 2d6 tests you have rolled so far in this game. That's statistically fair.

Regarding cross-posting. I don't think cross-posting is a big deal even if two player posts contradict each other - we have a DM to fix that. I prefer you leave the posts you have been hard working on despite what other players had to say at the same time.

Clarification question about the mechanical entity(ies)... There are two pictures, one catlike yes and another looks more like a mantis... are there two constructs or one? and if only one, did we witness the change from cat to mantis? Zyra will catch up but I was curious if we were meant to see the two pictures?

One. =) All those pictures are from the same creature "changing forms" as it moves around, stops, tries to hide, etc.

Its very quick, so your character can miss that form, if you want. =)

I wasn't in the room yet, so Zyra only has the warning from Orryn at this point...

I'm not upset about failing rolls. Sure I'd rather not fail, but we roll dice for the chance we might fail. Otherwise we'd just narrate what we do at all times. That said, I'm gonna table talk. That includes bemoaning a perceived dice god's bias against gnome-folk. It's not serious.

As for the cross-posting. It matters to me, so I'd rather avoid it whenever possible. The fact that I got no emails for this thread alone despite being subscribed to it means I might assume nobody has posted, yet clearly there's been several exchanges. What I write is based on what has happened. If I'm not up to date, then my writing is off. For now I've simply added more on to compensate, but I'd rather it not be needed.

Is everyone else getting email notifications? I'm not sure if this is just me or site wide.

I don't use email notifications, so I am not sure if its something here or site wide. If it's something I can help with, just let me know.

I usually write my posts elsewhere, then open the thread, update my post and refresh if needed and then post. =)

I often write on my phone and save drafts to my notes. This might be the solution for now. If the issue is sitewide, hopefully it'll be addressed with time and bug fixes. In another game, if I was writing a post and a notification of another post came in. I'd save my draft and see if the new post would effect what I was writing. For example, if somebody left the room. I'd not be chatting them up in the previous room. I'd need to follow. It's stuff like that I update for. Some might see it as just something unavoidable given the medium, but I'd rather do my best to avoid it happening in general. That's all.

I get e-mail notifications on this thread. So I don't think it is site wide.

I'm on vacation from the June 27th to July 6th inclusive, some of that time I won't have access to the internet so you can expect delays in my posts. If the party needs a roll from my skills to avoid an injury or to move the story along, please feel free to roll and role play my character. I will catch up whenever I have connectivity.

Thanks Turanel2! When I heard it was not a site wide issue, I checked my spam folders and discovered that the email I use was marking updates as spam. Hopefully I have it fixed now.

I hope that fixes it for you! It can be frustrating. I wish email clients didn't make decisions for us.

I know this part of the adventure sounds confusing. It's a puzzle / mystery

If you want help from your characters, gimme a dice roll. Some players have fun solving it by themselves, though, so I won't spoil it otherwise. =)

It might come down to rolling to solve, but I'm liking getting more pieces. Lots of speculation so far.
