Harmia swings both blades at the vines that grab Tosti, shouting, "I've got you!"

That's the 2nd time that my 2nd attack didn't show up. I guess I could show Keleth? It's not really a huge deal.

Tosti spends a moment kicking his leg at a vine, only to find out it wasn't actually grabbing him. He recovers and attacks the monster in unison with Harmia. After she slashes up the tentacle that stuck him, Tosti brings his sword down on the main body.

Harmia unleashes a devastating flurry of blows against the beast. Tosti tries to drive his blade into the beast but his blade gets knocked away. The plant monster strikes angrily at Harmia, she takes a strike to the shoulder but it fails to grab her.

Tosti slashes his longsword in two wide arcs, hoping to smite the monstrosity before it does more damage.

From what I can tell, I've only hit once so far with a level 2 divine smite. If that's the case, then I'm gonna use that for my critical hit.

With her final strikes the writhing mass of vines dissolves into gold an silver mist and Tosti absorbs the Soul of the Ashen Forrest. As the beast disappears Harmia feels her grasp on the world start to fade, she will vanish soon.

He then returns to the bonfire to inspect the souls he has collected (the Ashen Forest, shrubling, and forest druid souls).

Soul of the Ashen Forest. The Ashen Forest had once rested in peaceful recline, but it has since been stirred to anguish by it's mistreatment. Offer at a bonfire for 4000xp, use for trading or use to create a powerful item.

Soul of a Forrest Druid. Those that are one with nature are prone to be overwhelmed with it. This once proud servants of Tyr and Zisa have been hollowed by the same force that drove this forest to corruption. Offer at a bonfire for 450xp or use for trading.

Soul of a Twisted Shrub. In the dark heart of the forest of ash, the anger in the woods have been made manifest by the animation of small plants. Offer at a bonfire for 10xp or use for trading.

Tosti absorbs the druid and shrub souls, and then leaves the bonfire to head back into the heart of the forest. He'll stroll casually until he reaches the area where he last encountered the smaller shrub monsters.

Replicating his previous encounter, Tosti channels the power of Zisa down onto the shrublings. The beam is centered on their group, in order to maximize the number of targets hit.

OOC:

Casting moonbeam, it has a DC 12 constitution save. If anything enters the beam or starts their turn inside of it, they take 2d10 damage. They take half damage if they pass the save.
