Game Thread: Tosti Hakisson

Tosti takes two drinks of his estus before turning towards the two archers. Tyr doesn't forget enemies, and neither does he!

He channels nature's wrath at the more distance hollow, and spectral vines burst forth to restrain their target. He then moves to attack the closer one.
OOC:
DC 12 for the vines, like last time. Edit: Whoops, forgot about Nirmon. Don't die, horsie!
With the chance that the second hollow could be restrained, Tosti whistles for Nirmon to charge the hollow he just attacked. Connected by a telepathic bond, Nirmon gallops towards the fight.
OOC:
DC 14 STR check, or the hollow gets knocked prone. If it fails the save, Nirmon gets a bonus attack.

You have been summoned into this thread, you can go across there and still post here, time is convoluted after all...
The hollow is knocked prone by your horse but the other manages to escape the vines. The distant one will shoot at you the other will stand up and attack you (but your horse can take an action before it does this...)

Another arrow bites at your flesh.

Do I get summoned with my current stats or does everything get reset, like I just spawned from a bonfire?
Nirmon makes a second attack on the hollow before it stands up.

After taking the arrow, Tosti makes two attacks on the hollow that was knocked down.
OOC:
Tosti's gonna need to invest in a shield...

Nirmon will make another attack on the hollow, and Tosti will quickly follow-up with his own attacks. Tosti uses a bit of divine energy in his attack that hits. His arms shake after channeling Tyr's power, signaling that he only has enough constitution to cast one more spell.

The hollow survives the first blow, but finally turns to ash with the second. Now that the combat has passed you notice ahead that there is a wispy green mote of light. It is in the place where you last fell. On the ground where one of the hollows fell you see a short bow and 7 arrows.
OOC:
So you should currently have 5 of those bandit souls...

Dec 10, 2016 10:41 pm
Tosti will pick up the arrows and the bow, and he'll also investigate the mote of light. It reminds him of a forest spirit, but it doesn't quite look the same.
Dec 11, 2016 7:20 am
As you examine the mote life fills you as you absorb the souls you dropped. 3 bandit souls and a fading soul...

The crumbled tower is just ahead, all that lies in your way is a particularly thick shrub grown across the path.
Dec 11, 2016 7:34 am
Tosti looks at the pathway with suspicion before pushing forward. He uses his divine senses to avoid being ambushed by hollows, and will start cutting down the shrub growth.
Dec 11, 2016 9:14 am
You do not sense any undead, but as you approach the bush to cut through it a large portion of it flails wildly striking you across the chest. As it forms a viney monster. A second tendril lashes at you and wraps around your leg as the bush slowly prepares to engulf you.

You are grappled, escape DC 14

Rolling. Just realized that divine smite does an extra d8 if the target is undead.
Moving first, both Nirmon and Tosti attack the plant. In attempt to finish the battle quickly, Tosti uses the last of his divine energy to charge his weapon.

Though you and Nimron hit the creature hard, it survives the onslaught and swings again (once at you and once at Nimron) slamming into both. Nimron whinnies in pain as it fades away to the spirit realm, (the 12 is directed at you).

Tosti drops to a knee after being attacked, and decides that there's no way he could take this monster without help. He'll disengage from the monster, and then drop a few lit torches (hoping to dissuade the plant from chasing him) onto the ground while he backs away.
