You land a solid blow with your spear and have a chance to get in another strike before they can react.

I shift my focus to offense and strike the weaker knight again. As my spear connects, I push psionic energy through the weapon and into the hollow to amplify the attack.
OOC:

Bonus: Psionic Focus to Psionic Weapon (+1 Attack and Damage) > Spend 1 Psi Point to deal 1d10 extra on hit
Action: Attack weak knight

Your blow lands and the knight is pushed back slightly, it slams you with its simple blade, and gets stabbed in the back by the other knight. Both miss their mark.

I strike the weak knight again, hoping to finish it off. If it falls, I take a step back and set my spear against the lance knight in case it decides I'm it's next target.

Move (if weak knight falls) step back

Your blow fells the weaker knight. The other seeing you tries to catch a blow on you, giving you the opportunity to catch him with a your spear.

With the dim memory of training the knight dodges your strike and returns a lunge of it's lance, landing a solid blow on your side.

With a final blow you reduce the soldier to ash, and absorb the soul of a Legrion Lancer. Looking down the trench it seems there is nothing else to stop you from arriving at the main gates. It seems open but you still cannot see within, as if what lies beyond is obscured by fog...

I approach the gate, but do not pass through the fog. I check the estus flask, then take a drink.

Ok, so it's basically hit dice in a bottle -- since I don't really have hit dice, then how would the Psionic Recovery option on Iron Body Work:

Psionic Recover (2): As an action, you can spend up to two Hit Dice. Roll each die, add your Con modifier to it, and regain hit points equal to the total.

OK I've got a substitution, I think it should be reasonably balanced, but if you want feel free to swap out that discipline for another.

Psionic Recover (2): As an action, you can consume up to two uses of your estus flask. Roll each 1d12 instead of the 1d6, add your Con modifier to it, and regain hit points equal to the total.

Of course with this in mind if you so desire you can reroll the heal from above.

Looks great, I like it. It fills the role I wanted that ability for well - emergency in-battle healing (and that's more effective than drinking from the flask).
