As Alara predicted a short distance down the trench is a heavily armoured knight with a heavy mace, it hasn't noticed you yet.

I focus my mental energies on aggression and rush down the trench, driving my spear forward at the familiar foe. As my spear sinks in, I release a burst of psychic energy into the wound through the tip of my weapon.

With Alara's final strike the heavily armoured knight, and Rawlyn absorbs a Legrion Tortoise Knight. Ahead of you one of the Knights from outside the encampment and a knight with a heavy lance do battle 40ft down the trench.

"What a fierce adversary." Rawlyn says with a few huffs and puffs. "I think we'd do well to avoid if we can." He looks his ally up and down, "Unless that is too much a task for you. How are you with moving... quietly?"

"I am afraid I am not very quiet. Heavy armour is not very silent. I can, however, fly, and perhaps may avoid notice by taking an unusual route." I look to the battle then back to Rawlyn, "I don't know what is beyond this conflict."

"Fly? That is incredible!" Rawlyn says with glee on his face. "I say you should fly over them and I shall move past them. If either of us fail then the other can move in to help. If we get past successfully then we are one step closer to being free of this battlefield." He suggests, using his fingers and hands to illustrate his meaning where appropriate.

I nod, then focus my energies, bend and leap into the air. I fly over the battling soldiers, staying low enough to try and avoid the aim of the ballista's, but high enough to avoid the soldier's attention.
