Bughu lets the barb slide. He points to the four prisoners and brings his hand back towards the keep, signaling that since his end of the deal has been met, the others ought to be freed.

Bughu quietly huffs out a breath. He holds his longbow in front of him, undrawn, with an arrow nocked and pointed at the ground. He slowly and deliberately begins his approach, crab-walking and crossing his feet.

Once Bughu is 30 feet away, the half-dragon raises a hand, "Release the prisoners," he says. The kobolds cut the bindings off of the humans and shove them away. The prisoners whisper their thanks to you between sobs before rushing for the keep.
Once the people are safely inside, the half-dragon draws his huge sword, "Name's Langdedrosa Cyanwrath," he says with a slight bow and takes up a fighting stance, nodding to indicate that he's ready.

The warrior spits out something in his teeth. He looks over at Oridun and tips his head towards the keep, indicating that the dwarf should head back. To the keep. Now.
He turns back to the half-dragon. "Bughu," he states, plainly. Then without further word, the fighter brings up his longbow, drawing the string back in the same motion, and releases the arrow as soon as it is aimed. He backpedals 30 feet further away from Langdedrosa.

Not quite surprised at the maneuver, Bughu is nonetheless caught off-guard by how fast the dragonling is. He drops his longbow and tumbles forward in a dive to avoid a potential swing, pulling his hand crossbow as he rolls to his feet. Bughu spins back around to face Langedrosa and fires twice into the half-dragon's abdomen.

The first bolt that Bughu fires sinks into the ground behind Cyanwrath, but the second finds a seam in his armor, causing him to grunt in pain, "Better now, keep it up!" he says with a laugh.
With surprising speed he brings his sword whipping across once, and then reverses back the other way. Bughu proves to be difficult prey, however and he misses both times.

Bughu literally hears the wind part as the sword comes uncomfortably close. He risks a quick glance to ensure that the prisoners have made it safely into the keep before refocusing his attention on his opponent. Once again, two crossbow bolts are fired in close distance as Bughu contorts his body, trying to angle his shots for gaps in Langedrosa's armor.

The prisoners did, in fact, make it to the keep. It seems that this half-dragon possesses some honor after all.
Both bolts hit your foe, one in the leg and one slicing a line across his cheek as he barely moves out of the way. He smiles wider, if anything, and continues attacking in the same pattern as before; swing and backswing. His first swing hits Bughu in the shoulder just as he's going into a dive (22 vs AC 14, 7 damage), pushing him along further than he planned. The unexpected distance renders Cyanwrath's follow-up attack moot.

Bughu skids along the ground, springing up to his knees when the flash of pain briefly subsides. He fires his hand crossbow again, aiming for the legs to slow down the half-dragon.

The first bolt hits the half-dragon right in the knee joint. He howls in pain, but amazingly keeps moving, if a bit slower than before. He makes it over to where you are located, taking a single swing with his sword and missing.
I gave you the benefit of slowing him a bit and giving him only one attack this round due to the critical.
Also, don't forget that you have inspiration right now, which I do allow you to use for a re-roll

Bughu's hands fly in practiced rhythm, firing off consecutive bolts from his hand crossbow. This time, he aims for the shoulders to further limit the half-dragon's abilities.
