Chapter 1: Prisoners of the Drow

I am a wizard. Besides offensive spells, our most helpful would be sleep, charm person and maybe mage hands. Now, obviously we don't want to alarm the guards. Let's gather information on our work duty because once out of our chains and pen we still have to make our escape beyond the gate. Also, we have to empty our pots when we come back so we either can only take things out like Dustins thingamabob or hide things on our person.

OOC:
do I get the impression that the quaggoths are following the commands of the drow of their own free will or are the prisoners just like us?

The quaggoths you've seen to date (save for your fellow prisoner) haven't been chained up or anything of that nature. Whether that is because they believe them too dumb to run away or a level of trust in the relationship, you don't know.

If we've decided to wait until the next work party has gone and come back I'm going to rest and renew my spells.

is the quaggoth in the cell or out on a work detail? The prince that is.

Currently, all prisoners are in the slave pen. Typically you will all be present in the pen for 1 hour, then 1/3 of you go out on detail for 7 hours, then back together for an hour, out for 7 so on and so forth around the clock. There is no designated sleeping time that you can tell. You sleep when you are tired and go on duty when called. That's about it.

Ahhh Bildaweer, being a wizard, what that must be like. Though I must warn you even though the Drow appear different they are part of the elven family and so most likely immune to magical sleep and resistant to charms. Though I think that could very well effect the Quaggoth. Mage hand what can that do ?

should we not try to get our fellow prisoner to take command of his own people. After all he is there prince, they could be persuaded to join our cause.

He is not one of them, apparently he is Elven royalty and magicked to be like that. Good thought though, I will see how they react to him when we are put to work.

Cemos tilts his head to the side in a gesture of bewildered confusion and his face has a look of disgust that anyone would be transformed into such a beast. He looks at dustin and nods his head in acceptance.

Shortly after Cemos tips his head to the side, a clanging rings out from the front of the slave pens. One of the more heavily armored drow warriors stands at the gate, keys in hand.

Work team 1, let's go maggoty surface scum. He says with a sneer.

Derendil, Ront, and Jimjar get up, chamberpots in hand and make their way to the cage. When they get to the door, the guard looks back at Dustin and Bildaweer.

Are you coming, or shall we just shoot you where you stand? Again, the haughty voice carries through the room.

Dustin gets up and picks up his chamber pot. Making his way to the now open gate.

Dustin remained hyper observant to any opportunities.

As a note, the gate isn't opened yet. He's waiting for all of the work party to get to it before unlocking it.

Bildaweer whispers to Cemos, We'll talk about the spell after we're through. Keep your eyes open and ears perked.
Nov 28, 2016 3:48 pm
I'll be waiting for your return, keep yourself safe friends.

With the last member of the work party now present at the gates, the burly guard pulls the key from his belt and unlocks the heavy lock. The party files out of the room, turning left and out of view. The guard locks the gate behind him before also disappearing to the left.
