Part 2: The Bacta Run

Jack merely stands to Jasvan's side, giving the commander a disapproving glare. He adds no further words to the conversation, and simply stares, as if analyzing the commander's every move.

OOC:
Are there any vehicles in the room or is it empty at the moment?
Jul 26, 2017 10:17 am
OOC:
There are no vehicles in here; there wouldn't be room. However, there are a number of large doors that probably lead into a loading dock. Looking around, you do see three load-lifter droids currently standing inactive.

Bo will inspect the crates while making it seem like she is checking some inventory on her data pad. She is trying to determine which ones are the Bacta?
Jul 27, 2017 4:14 am
"Show me where you ship it out," Jack demands, staring holes into Jcor, intending to give Doc and Bo some time alone to do what needs to be done.

Bo inspects the crates and finds that they are clearly labelled with their contents. Carefully organized and stacked by type, all of the crates have bacta in them; the only difference is how it is packaged. Some contain bacta patches, some packs, and others seem to be barrels of bacta to be used for tanks.

Jcor brightens and smiles, "But of course! Right this way." He leads Jack over to the large doors, explaining that they ship by a variety of methods to the various Imperial installments in the city as well as to orbiting ships.

OOC:
Ok, struggling a bit to think how we'll transport any meaningful quantity of bacta of here. If we didn't bring a suitable vehicle can I flip a destiny point for there to be some sort of transport vehicle parked up outside?
Jul 27, 2017 6:29 pm
OOC:
There are just no vehicles inside. There might be something on the outside, which is where Jack is having this guy take him.
We can probably use the loading droids to get it onto the transport.
Jul 28, 2017 10:07 am
OOC:
Yup, that is what I was implying...there is at least one vehicle outside (no room in the warehouse...they load through the doors). For a lightside, you can specify what kind of vehicle is there!
Jul 28, 2017 10:27 am
Doc proceeds to look to be busy doing some sort of check against the various serial numbers on the side of the containers that Bo is pointing out in the storage area.
OOC:
Yeah that sounds good, I'll spend the Lightside point for it to be a Aratech "Shiphand" Cargo Skiff (according to the AoR Core Rule book they are used almost exclusively by the Imperials to move stuff between facilities and ships so it'd make a certain amount of narrative sense)

Jack observes the transport bay for a moment, and then turns to the commander, "We have an issue." Frowning in disappointment, he reaches into his pocket and draws out the commander's access card. "I found this, simply lying about, unsecured," Jack says, scowling, "After fifteen seconds of walking around, this is the first thing that I see!" Speaking through gritted teeth, he continues, "And you did not even notice it was missing, commander."

Jack slips the card back into a pocket on his own uniform, "We need to have a.. lengthier discussion about this. Await me in your office. We'll be going over your financial accounts, so get those out. I expect that they are impeccable."

Jcor pales at the sight of the card, then grows angry. "My financial records are at your disposal, of course, but you hardly need me to prepare them. Surely your...helper," he sneers at Bo, "...can do that for you."
OOC:
How would you like to use your 2 advantages?
Jul 29, 2017 9:59 pm
Jack's eye twitches in irritation, "If I wished for one of mine to prepare them, I would have said so." He turns to Bo, "She is currently busy ensuring for me that this card is your only screw up." He looks back at Jcor, "But very well, if you are so confident that everything is in order, we will do it together. Come along." Jack begins leading the way back toward Jcor's office.
OOC:
I'm honestly not sure! Um.. upgrade to next Deception, maybe? Or to get him to do this action? I'll also take suggestions.

With a scowl, Jcor follows. He nods to his subordinate, indicating he should stay and keep an eye on the other two.

I was planning on giving Doc and Bo an action or two before I continued on, but just in case, I do still have my blaster, right? I don't know if not having it was a part of our disguise. Not sure if that was mentioned. :)

Doc starts indicating crates of bacta packs and some of the barrels of bacta "Mark this one, and these, and that one there" he details to Bo, largely ignoring the subordinate before turning to him "The exterior doors are over here yes?" he says gesturing to the loading bay exit "I wish to see the exterior of the dock" he says tersely before starting to walk in that direction.
OOC:
I was assuming we'd have a sidearm, wouldn't be beyond the realms of reason for ISB officers, Bo would have probably had to stash any weapons they were bringing in a tool box or something though

Just so.

The man gives a brisk nod, "Yes sir, right this way sir." He leads the way across the warehouse to a smaller door on the same wall as the larger ones. With a swipe of his card, the door opens and he gestures you through.

On the other side a stormtrooper stands with a blaster rifle pointed at the open door. Your guide says, "At ease, Terris," and the trooper salutes and goes back to watching the outside docking bay. The docking bay is broad, with room for a small ship or many smaller vehicles. At the far end from where you stand there is an iris centered in a large wall, presumably leading out into the atmosphere of Bespin.

At this time of the evening, the bay is empty save for a single cargo skiff.
OOC:
I'd like a Discipline roll from each of you, please. Difficulty is 2 purple.
