Avox stops when he sees it, and picks it up and sets it on the counter. "I'll pay for it when this business is done." Then he follows the others.

As all of you enter the store proper, Kiph pushes a button under the desk and shutters roll down over the doors and windows. The wall behind him rolls up, revealing a hidden room with an extensive computer station. He gestures for you to join him there.

Jack pauses a moment, briefly looks to the others, and then goes where Kiph directs.
Feb 7, 2017 10:39 am
Doc follows Jack and Kiph into the back room, taking a look around to see if anything looks off
OOC:
Mainly looking to see if there are any hidden surveillance in here but also just on edge a bit so keeping an eye out for anything untoward that draws his eye

marithyme says:
OOC:
Bo (and anyone else who wants to), please roll Perception or Streetwise to see if there's anything useful. You can use a more specific skill like Computers or Mechanics if you have something you are specifically looking for.
Bo's main interest is repairing the droid, but she is also curious about other medical supplies and odds and ends.

Savi smiles openly. He loves the subterfuge and cleverness. With a nod he follows the crew inside.

Jasvan can easily see the surveillance cameras; they aren't hidden and are quite obvious.
OOC:
Untoward as in "dangerous"?
Feb 8, 2017 12:56 am
Bo spots several droid parts that might be helpful in repairing the droid from Dantooine, as well as a medkit and several stim packs.
Feb 8, 2017 1:02 am
Kiph stands by his computer station and begins pulling up data files. "Don't worry, we can speak quite openly here. I have both physical and electronic barriers to spying." He gives Doc a sly look. "Wouldn't do for someone to get information without paying for it." He turns back to his screen. "Thessa said you were looking for bacta, and that you wanted information on an Imperial warehouse. Bold. I like it. Tell me what you need; I will either have it, or tell you where you can get it.
Feb 8, 2017 3:25 am
Jack leans against a wall next to the terminal, "We're going by the warehouse after this to have a look, but I expect that they aren't going to let us take a gander inside." He starts counting off on his fingers, "Blueprints of the structure, descriptions of how the bacta is stored - big crates, small containers, how many a piece. Let's see... any information on what the security is like, both inside the building and any response teams from elsewhere."

"That should start you off." He looks toward the rest of the team for their input.
Feb 8, 2017 10:51 am
Kiph punches some more buttons. "Here are the blueprints. The warehouse stores large crates of bacta packs; easy to transport and easy to sell. Within each crate will be boxes containing the packs themselves. The Imperials store them here, then send out crates or individual boxes, as need be."

Jack turns to look at the console, brow raised slightly, "Damn, that was fast." He leans in, eyes scrolling over the details for a bit. "This is definitely getting some ideas brewing," Jack says, leaning back so that others can get a close look.

"I've got some more questions, but... what about you guys?" Jack turns to the others, "What are your thoughts?"
Feb 8, 2017 5:01 pm
Bo comes up with a handful of scraped parts and some medical equipment. She sets them down on a counter. "I can wikely get in and out no pwoblem, but not wif many packs ah bectah. Maybe open some doors doh?"
Feb 8, 2017 6:15 pm
Doc looks thoughtful for a moment "The main thing that's on my mind at the moment is how big are the storage crates the bacta is in? That's going to have a big impact on any plans we make."
Feb 8, 2017 7:14 pm
Savi nods as Doc lays out his primary concern. "Ease of transport will determine how much we can take in a go. Security numbers and details will be another main determinant."

After a pause..."How often do they "send out crates"? To where do they send them, typically. And how many people accompany a crate when they ship them out? Do they take them straight out on transports or do they first ferry them to a spaceport to be loaded?"

Savi stops rapid firing questions realizing he's giving Kiph way too much to digest at once. He has more questions, but is content to get some answers before slamming the poor Ithorian with even more.
Feb 8, 2017 11:07 pm
Jack grins at Savi's questions, liking where this is going.
Feb 9, 2017 12:08 am
Kiph ponders a moment. "I do not have a schedule, and there is no clear pattern from my observations. They pick up both small deliveries that are ferried up to ships in orbit, and larger deliveries that go directly into hyperspace-capable vessels," he indicates the loading spaces on the left side of the plan. "The internal boxes are standard shipping containers, used the galaxy over. Internal hover capacity, so the most difficult part is the inertia." He taps his fingers thoughtfully, "Guards....hrmm....usually depend upon the size of the shipment, but at least two."
Feb 9, 2017 2:49 am
Jack ponders for a moment, and then raises a finger and points at Kiph, "Any way to get credentials for a delivery? You know of any guards or workers in there that we could reliably bribe or blackmail?"

"...Or scare." Avox adds to Jack's idea. "We can take two guards if it came to it, but the warehouse will certainly have more."
