Digit exchanges a glance with Ghost, looking less angry and more curious.

Puck ends the call

Ok, Digit, I think you need to start trusting me more. There may be a way we can help this girl, get paid, and not have to hand her over in case it's a sketchy situation. We can pull a prank that would make Raven proud.

now, what about the dragon job? I still don't like having anything to do with a dragon, let alone the big L....
Feb 12, 2017 12:52 pm
Digit frowns at the elf, "I do trust you Puck, and I trust what you say to me. And you said, 'if we take a job and don't deliver it will tarnish our good name.' That says to me that if you take a job, I'm to expect you to deliver on it." She turns to look out the window, but continues talking, "If your plan all along was to fake out the Azzies and save this girl - should she need saving - then you could've said that to me instead of 'too bad; executive decision." Digit's tone is less angry and sounds more hurt than anything. "I'll tag along in any case, in case we do this paydata job, and to keep some wannabe from bricking your shit. If this girl is some escaped lab pet though, I'm not turning her over to the Azzies."
Feb 13, 2017 8:49 pm
"Well why don't we go to that Janus place and see what we can find out. If it turns out the girl isn't a lab pet then do the other as well. Two runs one end goal of being paid." Symbiote is slowly following Ghost in the lead vehicle.
Feb 14, 2017 12:51 am
Ghost nods in agreement, more for Puck and Digit since Halaron can't see her.
Feb 14, 2017 4:46 pm
I'm thinking on my feet, it's a bit slower the colder it gets. If we're going to Janus, let's go
OOC:
janus is the dragon job, right? if so I'll contact the johnson and say we're taking the job
Feb 14, 2017 6:16 pm
You contact Simon Andrews letting him know you'll take the job, and make your way towards your next destination.

By now, you’re almost accustomed to driving in the wind and snow. At least it beats walking any distance in a Chicago winter.

As you approach 1501 North Greenview Avenue, you see a right-triangular brick building lined with boarded up windows. The building is dark. It looks like it might have been a school in a previous life, but now it bears the word JANUS in some techie-looking letters above the barricaded glass doors in front. At the southeast corner of the building, a lone door lies open, hanging precariously from one hinge and pinned open by a snowdrift.
Feb 14, 2017 8:41 pm
ok, how are we going to play this?
Feb 14, 2017 8:44 pm
Symbiote pulls up alongside Ghost."Let's me send out my drone first. There may be squatters here, judging by that open door. See if Puck wants to do that magic stuff." Symbiote jacks into his RCC and opens the van window allowing the drones to exit and quickly seals it back up.
OOC:
Going to circle the building and then check around the door.
Feb 15, 2017 6:05 am
I can walk in while invisible or by looking like I belong there. Not going to use magic as long as drones can do the trick
Feb 15, 2017 10:25 am
Rubbing at her eyes, Digit will lean against the inside of the van and jack back into the Matrix. Her body goes limp as her mind begins to piece together streams of data.

Immediately, she tries to take in whatever she can as far as what might be around her...

Halaron, around the building you see nothing but the white of snow. The drone moves silently towards the door.
OOC:
@Cerris214 you need to roll Perception. That's either Perception + Intuition [Sensor] or Electronic Warfare + Logic [Data Processing].

You are allowed to substitute them IIRC.

Symbiote circles the perimeter and checks for signs of people or creatures.

Perception (4) + intuition (4)+ sensors (3) - (11d6)

"There are some cameras inside," Digit relays to the group comms.
OOC:
Can I see what the camera feed is relaying to?
Feb 16, 2017 4:03 pm
OOC:
Don't seem to be relaying it anywhere. Just some cameras that's still working, while wherever the feed was saved is long lost. They are filming, and can give a view of the interior, but they are no longer recording for posterity.
Feb 16, 2017 5:35 pm
Puck watches the feeds of the drones as they zip around. She will use her photographic memory to help her get her bearings once inside
Feb 16, 2017 9:11 pm
Digit does a quick shuffle of her programs and systems before she goes in and starts doing her job.
OOC:
Going to finally do some hacking and put a mark on two of these cameras!

A/S/D/F = 3/6/5/5+2 | | | Programs: Sneak (Program Carrier), Fork, Signal Scrub, Encryption

Edit: Gooood lord, these rolls. I'm going to spend Edge to activate Second Chance and reroll the failed dice.

So that hits my limit of 6 successes.

You are easily able to circumvent what little security is left on the cameras. Most of the cameras are out of work and only showing static.

Moving through the various cameras you find one that shows the reception area. The light is off, and you can barely make out the details. A large desk which once had the Janus logo stands in the middle of the room. The front has now been filled with several layers of graffiti.

The other working camera you are able to access seems to be further inside. A wrecked office landscape long since abandoned can be seen. Desks, chairs and other furniture lays scattered about. As you are surveying the scene, a large dog like creature can suddenly be seen entering the view. It is pure white with sharp spines protruding along the length of its back. It’s teeth seems to be glowing.

"There's, um... there's definitely something in there. Some irradiated canine, maybe? It's big and doesn't look cuddly."
