Hello,

Fascinating bug here. I made this post yesterday, quoting another post made by user thatguy2. Thatguy2 later deleted the post I quoted and another post that preceded my post. Now, my post appears to have been posted by thatguy2. Also, my account is the "GM" of the current game, thatguy2 is a player.

Hope that is enough information to go on! Take care and thanks for all of your time and effort.

Hm... that's a really weird set of circumstances, and on immediate review, I can't see why it would change anything.

Edit: Looked over what you said and the situation, and it makes a bit more sense. I can immediately fix it so you are the author again, and I'll try to replicate the situation so we can avoid it happening again.

So, if you don't mind, don't delete it yet? Let me review it first, and see what's up?

Okay, sounds good! It was no inconvenience at all, and we can leave the post up as long as you like.

Okay, I think this was a case of user error. I think pressed "edit" instead of "quote" and since I was the GM of that game, it allowed me to edit my player's post and changed me to the author. I think we can chalk this one up to fat fingers on a small phone. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No inconvenience at all. In fact, if you did edit, we found a bug, because it should mark that you edited the post. I'll look into it.

I did notice that GM edits of a post do not show up as edited, but figured it was because that person was the GM.
