Sinnj follows the two men and the girl over to the stable. Once they arrive he looks through the stock to see if any one horse is better than the others, figuring that the nicest one would be spoken for and he wouldn't waste his time looking towards it as one he could use as a mount on their trek.
You all arrive at the stables, seeing a brown destrier, most likely the lords', and several other smaller horses- two mares, a stallion, and a gelding. However, you soon notice someone taking shots at you with a bow. He seems to be just an average bandit, trying to steal what he can before the city is destroyed. Roll initiative.
Thurkean, covered in rags, cloth, and other miscellaneous wrappings, looks for signs of the group he was expected to meet as part of the King's Rangers. The cold is biting and painful despite his efforts to cover himself from it. He ponders about the decision he made to join the King's Rangers as continuing his trapping trade would have him dwelling in warmer lands. He shakes it off, knowing that it wouldn't have lasted much longer.
"I am part of the King's Rangers" He says with a raspy and somewhat quiet voice, only slightly suprised with the drawing of weapons "I was summoned to this Lighthill"
Enialis flees to the biggest tree that is closest to him as he has not yet prepared his spellbook. He is sure to keep his quarterstaff within reach as he might have a use for a blunt object that could pose as a weapon.
Rethune retrieves his short bow and notches an arrow. His heart is pounding in his chest. He has been honing his hunting skills with his mentor for years but this is the first time he has been without his protective covering; a constant presence assuring safety. That was until a month ago when an orc raiding party was simply too much for the two of them. The man who practically raised him sacrificed himself to ensure his survival. Quickly he shakes his head to regain focus and draws back waiting for an opening.
