lunitar, do you want us to roll for HP or can we take the average?

Yeah, I'll be taking the average, too. My rolls haven't been so hot lately. Not that I'm superstitious or anything.

Lunitar, what's your policy on exchange rates? Say if your starting equipment includes a Warhammer, and you wanted to sell it, what would you get for it?
Feb 5, 2017 4:46 pm
I still have to work on finalizing the equipment list, but I've submitted Bildarrak "Billy" Niengald - Dwarven Cleric/Bard to the game.

15gp for the warhammer

Cool! Would PHB prices apply to everything else? I'm not trying to nickel and dime, it's just that Dulcimers aren't cheap and Billy doesn't get the starting equipment for his second class!

Indeed, not counting inflation and sell back tax, oh, I mean yes, use those prices.

HypCo, you are probably right. I originally chose that combination because of my poor stats. Now that I have better stats and McDunno is a cleric, let's go full Druid. I'd like to play him as a Dwarf who was forced to choose between his family's desire for him to continue the family wizarding tradition and his own desires to pursue his innate connection to nature. Ultimately he could not deny his affinity with nature and chose to be true to himself rather than sacrifice for his clan.

We'll go with Hill Dwarf, Moon Druid-3:

Str - 9
Dex - 12
Con - 15
Int - 16
Wis - 17
Cha - 12

Going to go with the Sage background to match my wizard apprentice upbringing, which will provide me with a few more INT based skills.

Avatar check!

He looks like he could smile more often!
Feb 6, 2017 1:31 am
Dwarves don't smile, unless they're killing something, drinking brew or blacksmithing... did I leave out any stereotypes?
Feb 6, 2017 1:45 am
Or beating an elf at something!

Billy's a pretty happy dwarf. And I'm having a hell of a time finding an avatar of a smiling dwarf bard that doesn't look awful. Even in most of the art I can find of a dwarf with an instrument, the dwarf looks pissed.
Feb 6, 2017 1:50 am
Does it matter what instrument the dwarf is playing?
Feb 6, 2017 1:51 am
He plays a dulcimer, but I'm not too picky right now.

[ +- ] Happy? Dwarves.
[ +- ] Here's a pretty happy boy.
