Yeah, honestly, I think I could throw an adult dragon at you guys and you could pull it off if you are at full power. But when a PC goes down, the rest of you are usually pretty low on abilities and HP too, where as the Isle of Dread zombies reset to full power. There could be a terrible domino effect where a single dead PC does just enough damage to kill another one of you before it dies, and so on.

MoMo says:
Tapping her nose knowingly, Ygne smirks. "Ygne the Vigilant," she replies matter-of-factly.
Leaving it vague as to whether or not Ygne actually saw Moss, had a gut feeling, or had no idea. Even in the latter case, she'd take credit for what Moss was saying anyway.

Hey MoMo, after all the hostility I want to know if everything is cool. I don't want to ruin anyone's experience. Rygnar is loyal to Elspa, beyond all else that he is blind to his very obvious hypocrisy.

Thanks for checking in. All is well, OOC :) I hope the same goes for you.

I'm at a bit of an impasse with Ygne. We have this unstoppable force hitting an immovable object between Rygnar and Ygne, where the both of them are far too stubborn to change their ways. Ygne's going to remain bratty and loudmouthed, and Rygnar is going to stick up for Elspa according to his views and values. Ygne's going to always speak her mind, and Rygnar is going to always punish her for it, and the both of them are so adamant about these aspects of their personalities that I'm wondering when or even if it could change. The problem is that, as far as I see, Ygne doesn't have a reason to stick around and suffer that. She doesn't want to, and Ygne only does what she wants to do. She wants friends, but she isn't going to change for that. While she's friends with Frick, he's not her version of Elspa. Lastly, she has the (over)confidence to think she can handle the Isle on her own. So, she would leave, by what I can judge of her character. For the most part, I think it's fitting. In my application for this game, the first line for Ygne was that she has always struggled to belong somewhere.

Of course, for the sake of fun and having a good time, her leaving isn't ideal for me :) At the moment I'm just having her walk away to cool off. Since she's also easily influenced, I imagine a thousand different things could happen to make her change her mind. At the same time, I'll be trying to think of solutions that I could maneuver, through Ygne, to reasonably solve this problem I'm having. Lastly, I figured having her stay would only cause the situation to boil over until another fight broke out. So it's likely more could get done by having Ygne walk off on her own for a little bit.

Okay, thank you! Everything is good over here.

Hopefully my post, counteracts her leaving and makes her stay. I, personally, love Ygne.

I'm really glad to hear that! I never quite know for sure, since she can be so abrasive. I'm sure she'll stick around. It doesn't take much to change her mind. I think the moment to cool off is still a good idea, and she isn't much for drawing up plans anyway.

Just wanted to mention that I made a new thread to collect some of the game's details from the past to avoid us having to search through the chapter threads to find it. Anyone is welcome to make notes in the thread as we go; probably use spoiler tags to keep the thread length manageable.

Is Frick able to find his lost glaive?
You lost it in the ravine, right? We haven't gone back there (and Jarveena won't want to). Right now we're on the beach.

With my less-than-100% lack of participation in the past weeks, I wasn't sure if we'd gone through there or not.

No worries, man. We've got your back. :-)

Frick did say he wanted to go back and get it but no one has responded except Jarveena who (internally) says to herself that she doesn't want to go.

I missed something too: what happened to Jehanna (correct spelling?) the ribbon girl who fought the Seventh before the pirates attacked.

You guys moved out of the scene of their fight and didn't witness the end of the fight. They were both on the undead-filled side of the ravine, and you and the village left them to their fate. I believe that your actions thus far have only revealed that The Seventh is alive and Moss saw that he has Jahenna's amulet that Moss delivered to Jahenna from Auntie Zilla.

Hi Naatkinson. Yes, the Glaive may still be in the ravine and you may be able to find it; I'll leave that up to a perception check if you find the time to go back into the ravine. Your characters might also recall that there are also 2 unaccounted for Ancestors that did not perish in the fight.

Thanks for asking for clarification. Everyone, please feel free to do that anytime.

Naatkinson, in another post I also noticed Frick mentioned something about "killing a god." Just to be clear, I don't think that was a part of Elspa's proposal. Rather, he's talking about freeing a god. Elspa has mentioned killing the god if he backstabs you in the deal, but that is not plan A.

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the only thing that Frick heard lol

Sorry, I just started work back up, so I'm finally at the point where I can give the game more attention, so my posts should be slightly more coherent now :)

Heeey that's good news! :-)

Well, it's the job that I had before I got let go from this last one, so it's about a 20% pay cut, but it should suffice for now :)

Thankfully, I'd put in my two-weeks and they let me come back, and with all of my raises, benefits, and seniority!

FUCKING AWESOME! Well, not the 20% pay cut, lol. Nonetheless, super happy for you & yours, Naat.

Heavy as hell, though, around 600 lbs.
Did I math this correctly? I can Push, Drag, and Lift 1,080 pounds (30(PDL multiplier)x18(Str. score)x2(Aspect of Bear)).

Sorry for all the questions, len! It's half because Ygne is in detective mode and half because MoMo is really interested in the lore.
