Hey folks, how are people enjoying the debate on where to go next?

I ask because I noticed we've produced 9 pages worth of posts on this debate. It has been full of good role play and bits of character and party growth. If everyone is enjoying what's going on, then I am too.

If people are starting to get antsy for the story to move forward, then perhaps one of the characters can propose a mechanism to overcome the deadlock. The most obvious is a vote, but other fun mechanisms could be put forward - a contest of strength or skill, a game of chance, or just flip a dead man's coin.

I personally am enjoying the debate, but would not be offended if others do not, and wish to move on. As I said in the interest check thread for this game, my favorite part of TTRPGs is dialogue and RP between party members, which this group does phenomenally. The mechanisms you proposed also sound very fun, so I would not be opposed.

I'm not opposed to continuing the debate either, though Frick's contributions are minimal at this point. I'll have to step up my participation

I like it, I think the characters are learning more about each other. Moss is starting to have a new found respect for Ygne that he did not expect to have for somebody that young.

Jarveena is somewhat impatient--she'd rather act than talk. But as a player I'm rather enjoying Ygbe & Elspa's back and forth, that's why I haven't had Jarveena butt in, and don't intend to yet. :-D

Yeah, sorry about hogging all the dialogue. Elspa's got her opinions and nothing thus far has swayed her perspective in a new direction.

Elspa also knows/suspects that Rygnar is sleeping, and is trying to draw out the conversation to give the dude some time.

I don't view it as hogging the conversation, I view it Elspa having her mind set on what needs to be done and voicing her opinion. Especially given the drawing out reason to let Rygnar sleep, that is good behind the scenes knowledge. Rygnar isn't sleeping though, I don't know if he'd be able to hear the conversation from where he is.

Ygne is probably the last person that'd go over and see if Rygnar was doing alright, but... eeerrggh... MoMo is wanting to, so badly!

If everyone's having fun, keep going. Like others have said, I'm enjoying the RP and conflict / resolution a lot.

Maybe I'm reading Ygne wrong but I could see her poking the proverbial wasp nest simply just to be in the know.

So this is different from Zilla's cave? So I guess Jarveena was mistaken when she replied to Frick with this.

I did mean Auntie Zilla's cave and posted under the assumption it was nearby.

Haha, I just noticed we surpassed 1500 posts and have yet to set foot on the Isle of Dread - a testament of this group's depth of roleplaying! Haha, I love this game! Congratulations on getting to 1500 posts in such style, everybody. Looking forward to the next 1500.

Haha, thank you. I'm just glad Ygne is just as, if not more, stubborn than Rygnar and didn't let up on questioning him. I was almost certain during some of that that she would of just gave up, thankfully I was wrong; definitely looking forward for what's to come between those two.

My favorite part has to be just the "Rygnar, I have another question," and his response to that.

Today I am pleased to bring to our game the majestic Deinonychus. As a dinosaur-obsessed child, the Deinonychus was my favourite of the terrible lizards. I think Jabes or Deadpool did the random encounter roll as a hidden roll, but they rolled 1 random encounter.
