Cyphers:
A silver band, worn around the head. It projects a ray of fire up to 300' that inflicts 7 points of damage.
A synth stinger from some type of creature. An injected creature falls asleep for 10 minutes. They can be awakedened by violent action or an extremely loud noise.
A spinal injector. When attached to a creature's nexk, it adds 1 to the creature's Speed Edge for one hour.
Oddity:
A fuzzy stuffed bear that makes growling noises when you squeeze it.
It's not very intuitive, but on the GamersPlane Numenera sheet, the first column next to your skills (labeled Attr) will toggle between (M)ight, (S)peed, and (I)ntellect. I think the idea is that you'd assign the skill to the appropriate Pool to make things easier to understand at a glance.
The second column (labeled Prof?) will toggle between (T)rained or (S)pecialized. I'm going to ping Keleth to see if he could add another option for (I)nability, but for now, if you have an inability, either mark it next the Skill field or leave the Prof? column blank.
It sounds like @SelectiveAmnesia may be drawing up his char tomorrow, and I haven't heard from @WillAdams yet. I'm hoping we'll be able to start the game sometime next week. Let me know if you have any questions about any of this so far.
Have a great weekend!
