The Haunting Gameplay

Karabekian spritely trots down the stairs without a problem.

Valentin however feels the steps are very dangerous and fears risking a fall like Marc.

Marc spots a solid looking, if slightly rusted, iron crowbar.

As the only source of light is the flashlight, Marc will need Larry's help to do the job effectively.

Not waiting for light, Marc drives the crowbar into the wall and starts wrenching strips of wood, with a loud cracking sound. Larry instinctively shines the light his way and within a couple minutes, he has uncovered an alcove with a storage bin, presumably once used for the storage of coal.

The alcove is about 6 feet across and four feet deep. There is nothing there but coal dust. Above is a chute, for pouring coal from outside. Shining the light, Larry sees a hatch that appears to be nailed shut.

As Marc taps around the walls he gets to the other side, opposite the foot of the stairs and finds another hollow spot.

As Marc starts to tear down the wall, something silver flies through the air, flashing briefly as the torchlight hits it.

Marc spots it from the corner of his eye as it shoots toward him.
