Karabekian is scared. His skin is crawling and he would have fled if his legs didn't feel like rubber at the moment. Then again, he can't just abandon the others, can he, like that bastard Kreutzwald did? Somehow he pulls himself together just enough to lunge forward and take a stab at the corpse with his sword.

Your Sword Cane actually requires a specialised skill to be used correctly. This skill starts at 20% so I have added the skill to your sheet (I don't believe you've struck with it before?) Karabekian lunges forward, thrusting his sword cane almost blindly at the hideous moving corpse. It tries to move, but too slow and the blade pierces it's leathery throat. The yellow eyes go wide and it lets out one final scream before crumbling into pieces in a cloud of dust.

His hands shaking, Karabekian sheathes his sword cane but holds out his holy symbols before him. "Is everyone alright? I don't imagine that's the end of it. What do we do now?"

With the body of Walter Corbitt destroyed, it seems the haunting has ended. Everything in the house returns to normal and Larry reports to his employer that the job has been completed.
Marc gains 1, given the knowledge that his attacker is gone.
The landlord pays the agreed fee, which Larry can distribute appropriately.
