The sounds of the bell seem to be coming from... beneath you. And you feel that it's getting louder and louder with each ringing.

Robin squints in discomfort, "What is that?"

Inar is able to think through the ringing and the stoic nature of Dwarfkind stands him in good stead. On the farther side of the water, Robin cocks his head and begins to walk into the pool -- intent on finding the source of the sound. Gilly appears a little less affected than her brother and trots after him, making sure he's well.
OOC:
Robin and Gilly each take a point of Shadow. Robin moves as if mesmerized and must proceed towards the center of the lake. Gilly is similarly affected -- but so much so, she seems actually unaffected despite being deeper in the thrall of the bell.Oct 22, 2017 6:27 pm
Inar shakes his head clear, finally clearing the fog in his mind before he spots Robin blindly walking into the water and his sister following. "LADDIE!" he shouts "It's a trick!" as he tries to grab hold of him.
Rolls
Strength (Athletics) to grapple Robin - (1d20+6)
(14) + 6 = 20

Frór hears a bell a-tollin’...away in the middle of the pond. Better go see about that. With a knowing look to Gilly he says, "You and me, Gilly, we’ll get to the bottom of this."

Fror and Gilly stalk cautiously towards the center of the pool, wading in carefully as Inar grabs hold of Robin. Regardless, there's quite a bit of splashing going in this pool as the sun gazes down upon you all.
OOC:
Robin, if you'll roll an appropriate roll to resist the grapple, we can determine if Inar is successful.Oct 27, 2017 3:38 am
OOC:
Rolling for Robin... Wow! By Durin's beard! As one, Robin, Gilly and Fror dive into the pool moving towards the center. After a large breath they disappear under the surface of the pool and all that stirs the water are the wavelets from their spashing.
OOC:
Inar, you are alone at the surface of the pool. What would you care to do?Rolls
Robin resists! (Athletics) - (1d20+2)

Muttering several curses along side comments about slippery hobbits Inar takes a deep breath and then dives after his companions
Nov 1, 2017 2:07 pm
Swimming around, Inar's able to find the base of the pool -- it's quite shallow, and there's some form of underground tunnel or entrance. Surmising that is where his fellows have headed, he swims a short distance down the tunnel and then finds himself emerging from the water onto a series of crumbling steps leading from the waterlogged tunnel into an underground room.
Robin, Gilly and Fror are here, asleep.
Robin, Gilly and Fror are here, asleep.

Inar crouches at the edge of the steps, his sword drawn, scanning the room for any threats before slowly starting to move towards his companions.
Rolls
Perception - (1d20+1)
(14) + 1 = 15
Nov 1, 2017 3:15 pm
The room reeks of dying and rotting things, and it is dark, dank and depressing. The cold stone floors are covered by a film of stagnant water. Outside of the steps leading to the tunnel that leads back outside, the room is devoid of anything of interest barring the dark opening at the far side that seems to lead deeper into whatever this is.

Inar moves over to the sleeping forms of the others as quietly as he can before leaning down and trying to shake Robin awake, taking care to keep a hand over his mouth to muffle any shouts the hobbit may make as he wakes.
Rolls
Stealth (if needed), disadvantage - (1d20+3, 1d20+3)
1d20+3 : (16) + 3 = 19
1d20+3 : (20) + 3 = 23

Robin stirs awake and doesn't give a fuss. But outside of the vague drip-dripping of water somewhere in the darkness, there's no other sound. Robin, for his part doesn't seem particularly out of sorts...
Nov 2, 2017 7:24 am
Inar lifts his hand from Robins mouth whilst making a shushing gesture. "How're you feeling laddie?" he says, his voice barely a whisper
Nov 2, 2017 10:39 am
After an initial, silent moment of confusion, Robin blinks his eyes and looks about, "I'm... I'm fine. I think? How did we get here?" His voice mimics the dwarf's whisper. His eyes widen with a sudden realization, and she scrambles toward Gilly, trying to wake her up. "Gilly!" Robin tries to subdue his volume as much as he can, but his fright makes it difficult.

With a little gentle shaking, it's straightforward to awaken Gilly -- and subsequently Fror.
