Ygne spins about in the water, catching the sight of Elspa falling and Moss being surrounded by three of the Trogs. Her eyes drift to Frick, battling against the monstrous beast by himself. There's a split second of decision-making before she begins weaving through the splashing waters and bypassing the Shambling Mound. She vaults up the pile of crates, aiming her shortsword at rapier Trog, and plunging it into his back. The blade drives between two sections of the Trog's spine with an audible
pop, which turns into a loud
crack as Ygne twists the blade roughly. She elects to leave her shortsword jammed into the beast's back, and she calls out,
"King Moss!" A flash of steel and a dagger is in her freed hand, before Ygne whips her arm and sends the blade spinning like a deadly disc toward One-Eyed Trog nearby, which stabs into it's body with uncertain results...
[ +- ] A bunch of OOC talk/question for GM
Since I got a crit, I just wrote that the first one died, since Undead Fortitude wouldn't activate. I hope that was alright! I can slow down if need be. Using abilities like Second-Story Work and two-weapon fighting again. I messed up and added Dex mod to damage on the attack against One-Eyed Trog, so the damage should only be 4, not 8.
Oh, lastly, if there's a way to get to the pile without suffering an OA from the mound, I'd much prefer to do that. If that's impossible, Ygne will suffer an OA to do what she did.
Oh, and lastly-lastly, if this is okay, since I would have noticed that I got a crit on my first attack, could I have decided to hold my sneak attack roll for One-Eye, that way he (hopefully) dies, or at least has to test Undead Fortitude? I can start rolling attacks and damage separately so that this isn't an issue in the future. Just wondering. No biggy if it's too finicky with rules or something.
