"He refused to open his doors and sell my companions the goods they needed to finish wiping our the undead. So I threatened to blow his doors right off his shop with a keg of black powder. Now I have had to threaten him again just to get him to tell us where a man lives. He is a coward and a blow hard. think nothing of him."

Hiding a smirk Heather offers some advice. "You will find you will catch more flies with honey than vinegar, but your tactics have been effective so far. Hopefully we will no longer need his assistance."

"So far as I can tell, none of the rest of the group agreed to not shop here. I simply stated that if he told me what I wanted to know that he would never see my face again. We have people who can buy for us through proxy if need be. And when the town is saved and they look to us as the heroes who saved them then he will have ruined his good name by refusing to serve us. Which in turn will ruin him and allow for a new shop to open and be run by someone who isn't a complete buffoon. Or we will die trying to save this place, and we won't need his store anyway. Fate is a wheel and ever does it roll. But I am rambling. I do that when my blood gets up."

OOC:
Hum, when did you get a map?
Aug 3, 2017 11:24 pm
OOC:
we talked about drawing one as we went way back in this I thought. I known it won't be great. May be The wrong game.
I'm playing a couple.
Aug 3, 2017 11:36 pm
OOC:
Well, you can always have drawn one, but so far, you know the city, the crossroads, the vistani camp at the Tser pool, and the Ivliss Marsh. You've yet to have seen the Lysaga Hill. You might be confusing with another game, or that time I said getting a map might be possible at Ireena's place.

OOC:
good to go. I use the drawn map and make my best guess as to Lusaka hill. I'll get it verified before we leave

Darren nods his goodbye to Bildrath and follows Roland out, "I can't stand that fool. He'd see his village burn just to sate his own greed."
Aug 4, 2017 1:03 am
Ireena will lean over to to se the map Roland is drawing.

"Lygasa Hill would be further west past the crossroad. At some point the old Svalich Road turns north and does a switchback as it climbs a slope in order to bridge over the Ivliss River, above the Tser Fall. The Lygasa Hill would be located somewhere in the curb made by the road turning north and the switchback. If Janis is camping 'behind Lygasa Hill' as Bildrath told us, then I'd guess it must be further west passed the hill. That is the only thing I can think that would make sense..."
Aug 4, 2017 1:05 am
Roland quickly adjusts the drawing.

"Thank you Ireena."
Aug 4, 2017 11:21 am
"Aye. Shall we head out again?" Durgrim re-mounts Roland's kart, taking the reins.
Aug 4, 2017 11:29 am
Heather climbs in beside Durgrim.
OOC:
I feel like I have my own chauffer.
Aug 4, 2017 11:43 am
Roland mounts up, hackbutt at the ready in the back of the cart.
Aug 4, 2017 11:47 am
Ujjaya prepares to scout ahead on foot as usual.

You make you way along the muddy sinuous road which weaves along the hilly terrain of the valley. You eventually reach the crossroads, the gallows and small cemetery still there, but no supernatural manifestations this time around... Continuing past the crossroads, the road dips southward for a moment, then heads back due west, before slowly turning north. You then see the large outline of the Lygasa Hill slowly growing in size as you approach. From the direction you're coming from, it looks like a high and steep climb ahead of you. It is quite obvious that Roland's mule will not make it up that slope, and scaling the steep slope looks like a daring endeavour even if it wasn't raining... It would seem that you'll have to follow the road for a while longer and probably look for a better angle of approach once you reach the switchback.

"I dinnae' like the look of this place. Let's keep our ears to the ground, eh?" Durgrim scowls at the outline of the hill.
OOC:
And does the usual paranoid Dwarf detect undead sweep every know and then.

Veroth examines the route woth a cocked head. "I fly up, lower rope? But might still be long way walk after."

Sir Urik will answer Veroth.

"I doubt you have a long enough rope my feathered friend. Besides, some of us are wearing rather bulky armor, not to mention we'd still be leaving the mule and cart unguarded at the bottom of the hill. Seems like our best bet is to continue to the switchback which slowly climbs up the incline some distance further north and see if we can't find a better way there. Besides, our destination is behind that hill, not on top of it."
Aug 6, 2017 4:39 pm
"I agree with Urik, let's look for a better path," Darren says. If he sees everyone in agreement, he will continue forward.
