OOC:
Did roland save the dying wolf in time?
Aug 30, 2017 3:21 pm
With all of the creatures stable and bound, roland will begin treating everyone's wounds, including the enemies. I want them to come to with it obvious they were taken care of.

"I can summon a pulse of positive energy and heal all living creatures around us. Please my friends gather closer and Sarenrae will grant us healing."

Rolls

Healing living creatures - (3d6)

(632) = 11

OOC:
Are you including the elf and wolves as well? Well, it is 30-feet radius IIRC, so I guess it will, unless you move away from them...
Aug 31, 2017 1:59 am
OOC:
Yes, I was going to heal them as well. I am on board with Roland's plan to convince them we aren't trying to kill them.
Sep 2, 2017 5:19 pm
Well, the elf and wolves are conscious now, so you can interrogate them.
Sep 3, 2017 2:29 pm
Durgrim eyes the elf with scorn. "Game's up, elf. Ye filthy mutt's won't be takin' any bites out of us today!" Frowning, he moves closer to the elf, and rests the head of the great earthbreaker on the elf's chest. "Now it's time to talk, foe. Who are ye, why do ye seek to lure us into a cowards ambush, and what is yer relation to the devil Strahd?"
OOC:
Good cop, bad cop? Durgrim will also use his detect undead just to make sure there aren't any of those here right now.

I'd use diplomacy instead of Intimidate, but Durgrim isn't in the best of moods.

Rolls

Intimidate - (1d20+3)

(20) + 3 = 23

Sep 3, 2017 2:40 pm
OOC:
Durgrim will determine that the elf and his wolves are not undeads.
"We are not agents of Strahd, if this is what you are wondering. We are our own masters, though we found out long ago that it is best to not defy Strahd. We do what we need to survive while trying not to displease him so he will not try and destroy us. As for what we are, seeing you've beaten us, surely you must know by now, surely you must have realized something was off when you attacked my wolf brethren..."
Sep 3, 2017 2:50 pm
Heather will lean in and stage whisper "Werewolves?!"
OOC:
Sorry guys, I missed a bit of the world building. Are werewolves kind of common? Would it be something everyone had heard of?
Sep 3, 2017 8:32 pm
OOC:
I'm not too sure about the rest of Golarion, I assume that lycanthropes are just about as numerous as your average D&D setting. But in the valley of Barovia, they do seem to be somewhat common.
"We have a different word for it, but it is what your kind call us, yes."

Having been badly wounded by the wolf, Ujjaya is grateful for Heather's healing.

His usually serene demeanor breaking, Ujjaya stumbles over to the elf. "You attacked us first, fired the first shot." Ujjaya points out flatly. "Jerref Maurgen. Janis Baragh. Do you know of them?"

"I do not know of Jerref Maurgen, but I do know of Janis Baragh. He is the scarred one, the one who hunts us."

OOC:
Would Durgrim know werewolves are typically Evil (if that's even true in this setting?)
Sep 4, 2017 3:17 pm
OOC:
You can always make a Knowledge (Nature) check.
Sep 4, 2017 7:02 pm
OOC:
Durgrim doesn't have Knowledge(Nature), and it's trained only. Would Knowledge(Religion) be of any use?
Sep 4, 2017 7:16 pm
OOC:
Hmm, I don't see how this would apply. Guess Durgrim will have to assume that werewolves are like most people and that some follow the path of righteousness, and some follow the path of evil...

"Ujjaya, do you need more healing?" asks Heather. She has some domain spells left that can heal, or more holy energy bursts for healing
Sep 6, 2017 2:22 am
"I would appreciate it very much. Thank you." Ujjaya replies.
OOC:
Currently at 38/49hp. It's not bad, but if you've healing to spare then I'll accept it. Thanks! :-)

Heather touches Ujjaya and uses her domain spell of cure light wounds.
OOC:
I was reading up and because I have taken the healin domain all my healing spells are 50% more effective. Is there a way to put that into the rolls? I will just calculate it for now.
OOC:
6x1.5 is 9. You have been healed for 9 Ujjaya
