Yeah. That sounds fine - we can say that you can barter around to find something. Around here the weaponry is not premiere as a rule like in Jeres. Mostly bronze blades with less-than-cutting-edge workmanship. Still, you can stab people the same with the knives, all normal stats and performance by the numbers.

Bryn is also going to be needing throwing knives as well. We could just put a few bandoliers on Maeriks and follow him around.

I spent 3 hours at the hospital after my wife had a gallbladder attack on new years eve, It was fucking awesome! She said she would go through childbirth again over experiencing that pain. She's doing better now, so I can tease her about how she fucked up our gaming session when they were just about to kill some barbarians and shamans.

Damn, Ox! I'm glad she's better... here's wishing for a speedy recovery.

Y'all, I haven't heard anything from X in a while. Even on PM. Not sure how CB's new job is going. I did a pretty big writing sesh download on the board yesterday, so I am planning to stand by for a bit today to see if everyone needs to catch up.
At a chill time on the story I think, but things might break lose again at some point, so I want to make sure everyone is available before we press on.

Hey all, apologies for being MIA for a bit here. End of our vacation in Montana was filled with activity, then the trip home was exhausting, and I landed back in exhausting hours at work. I'm back to "normal" now I think, so I'm hoping to catch up on all my reading, and hopefully start contributing again tomorrow.

Just finished a first read-through of all I missed. Hey, Thorn's pretty quiet anyway... I think the only thing he may have not been super happy about is turning over the fellow whose life he spared to a certain death, but... Kray probably would have convinced him.

One probably minor point to bring up, which I'd like anyone's opinions on:

"Thorn" has always been a weird nickname in my mind, and probably recognized as such in Jeres. Not a regular name, anyway. I'm thinking maybe Thorn gets Kray to put down Aemlar (the name he received from his mother in the vision orchestrated by Sorcha) on the Writ of Passage?

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posting last week. I got stuck in several training sessions and ended up actually enjoying my evenings with the family - a new perk of the new job! I'll be on in the morning hours tomorrow and will get caught up and post.

Just trying to catch up on what is written, it has been a crazy past weeks!

I've been busy recovering from damage on this run of cold weather. Two dead car batteries, frozen pipes in the house, plus the normal freaking mess of snow and all the salt and brine counterattack. I'm used to some winter weather, but for some reason this one is hitting hard on the property.
I don't see how you high-latitudes northmen deal with this on the regular.
