Dang, this is a knock-down drag-out grudge match at this point.
He begins to creep forward, within axe throwing range, using the areas of cover between himself and the witch. Be wary and prevail, the goddess of a Dannein had said. Yes, ma’am!

When Thorn is about 30 feet away, Fingol spots him and fires an arrow.
Miss. The arrow sails high and wide, a terrible shot.
Thorn sees Fingol leap up and start tearing through the woods, angling towards the old pier.

Then wheeling around, seeing Kray masterfully parry two strikes that surely would have seen him fall, Talius engages again with the Bull and says to Kray "This one is as tough as a smiths anvil" then tightens the grip on his hammer and swings at the Bull.

In sum it allows a mercenary PC to choose to gain Advantage on an Attack Roll, Damage Roll, Ability Check, or Saving Throw of his choice, before or after a normal roll result is visible. 1/day at 1st level, 2/day at 5th level, 3/day at 10th level.
EDIT: Nice Riposte Ox. Can't remember if that would be a hit on Bull's AC, but I imagine it is. Hopefully between Kray's yatagan gutting and Talius' hammer-method brain surgery we but that bastard down.
Since Phantom now has the net, how does Ivor get it back? I've forgotten if you're implementing the Disarm mechanics as per DMG, or if I need the Disarm Maneuver. I actually don't even need to take the net from him, just need to grab it and somehow tangle him up in it. So do I just make my regular net attack with a slight penalty, like maybe without the Advantage?

Resist Bird's Grapple: Athletics vs. 18 - (1d20+6, 1d20+6)
1d20+6 : (13) + 6 = 19
1d20+6 : (20) + 6 = 26

So...normal Attack with net, similar to your norm Retiarius style, but without usual Advantage.
but that would count as an Action.
TR3 Revisited
Miss on Trident hit attempt 10.
Grapple attempt resisted.
At the center of the upper deck, not far from the door of the hut yet similarly not far from the edge of the platform, Ivor is now being swarmed by two adjacent opponents.
BR3
Hit on primary attack (of course). Miss on secondary.
Kray feels his blade slide through flesh. The blow would have killed most men, but Kray has already learned that under the costume and bull mask is another veteran warrior. The bull shifts position just enough to avoid being killed, and instead he keep fighting another injury. Kray can also tell that the bull has now endured more hits than a normal man - something is pressing these Hive fiends on beyond the tolerance of normal pain.
The bull stands up, squares off again, still fighting and still completely silent in his fury.
BR3
Taking advantage of the bear-costumed warrior's missed swing, Talius counters with a quick swing of the hammer. Connection. The hammer thuds into the bear's side.
Hit on Riposte strike against Bear.
Shifting into a quick step and movement, Talius makes a short charge back at the bull masked man who opposes Kray, seeking to topple him with a shield shove.
Result: 20. Shove attempt resisted.
The bull shifts his weight just in time to take the shield charge head on however and stands his ground. Talius follows through with a vicious hammer strike. The Bull pulls back quickly though, and Talius hammer sails past.
Hit attempt against Bull a miss. Disarm attempt ineffective without hit.

another injury, a noticeable wound on his lower right side.
As Fingol falters, Thorn catches up on the chase distance.
Suddenly Fingol spins around, grunting in desperation and flinging his hand out in a wild throwing motion. A huge spray of powder burst into the air, spreading in an arc as it is released from Fingol's hand. The gray smoke and dust sail straight towards Thorn. He tries to cover his face and duck away to avoid being covered.
Rolls
Net attack - (1d20+7)
(17) + 7 = 24
Trident thrust (advantage if net hits), damage - (1d20+6, 1d20+6, 1d8+6)
1d20+6 : (12) + 6 = 18
1d20+6 : (20) + 6 = 26
1d8+6 : (4) + 6 = 10
Possible crit damage - (1d8)
(1) = 1
BR3
The entangling net drapes partially over the phantom, hindering his movements. Ivor's merciless stab with the trident connects, hitting the wrapped man in the hip. Ivor feels the weapon meet flesh, but still not so much as a wince or grunt of pain from the cloaked adversary.
Net hit. Restrained condition (though with this abnormal partial capture and a damaged net, may allow for adjusted terms of escape if the victim attempts)
Trident hit.
Have you thought about what Qiu's Finisher Move is?
Cena has the Attitude Adjustment. Orton: the RKO. Jericho: Code Breaker. Triple H: Pedigree.
What's Qiu's? If I may, some ideas: The Grand Expertise? The Attack Gobbler? The 5e Athletics?

And any one of those last 3 would be perfect names ha ha. Of course, other more appropriate choices include "OP Mistake of a Pseudo Combat Gimmick" or "Broken BS 'Combat' Mechanic That The D&D Dev Team Will Eventually Fix on UA If They Have Any Brains"... something like that would actually make more sense. Hmmm... they might be too lengthy though, they don't flow quite as well when you say them.
Of course, CB, as long as you can, exploit that move. It won't become obvious how broken it is until you've got more attacks and begin to rinse and repeat the grappling madness on woe-begotten NPC's who can't do anything about it, unless they're equally as grapple inclined. At that point all of our characters might have to get masks and tights and work on our tag team tactics. LOL. I think Kray's flash stupid move would be the one that shows up at 1:58 of this video (so dumb... whoever though that up was on acid). Add some additional theatrics by stealing Bird's outfit and doing a Superfly Splash from the top of Fingol's crib. Fuck yeah!
We could just take the masks from the guys we're fighting now! Oh man, hilarious... I just pictured our group with the masks.
No game mechanic effects of the dust since Save is successful, only cosmetics and theatrics of irritation.
In a surge of action, Fingol throws all of his weight against Thorn, trying to trip him up as he shields against the dust.
Fingol attempts Shove, but not with Advantage as he had hoped using the blinding powder.
Result: 21. Thorn needs to roll that or higher on STR Athletics or be shoved to the ground, beginning Prone condition.
NOTE UNLOCKED.
