OOC:
No. Damage reported, as always, is only damage IF it is a Hit. I was only correcting damage to be consistent. I do not pay attention whether Attacks are hits or misses. Assume Players will cover that.
But with AC 17, this looks like a Miss to me.

Ivor ducks under Gorolach's thrust and the Locust spear swooshes over his head. He stabs upward with his trident, his charge up the stairs granting impetus to his weapon.

Boann
BR2

Seeing Maeriks fall and the rescuers suddenly under the wrath of the enraged Gorolach, Boann makes a quick decision. She runs with every bit of speed that she can muster, circling around behind Thorn and Ivor, wary of what she thinks may be incoming arrow fire. She makes it to the stairs and takes up the great shield lying beside Fodla, who still lies motionless on the stairs.

With a great stride and her last bit of energy she surges up the stairs. "Maeriks!", she yells out, as she does what she can to hold the shield up against the incoming blows from vicious Documa and mighty Gorolach.

Ivor's first hasty stab at the despot misses but he quickly follows up with a casting of his net, followed by a step up and another savage thrust of his trident. Ivor's face is a mask of pure hatred, his eyes bulging, veins on his forehead popping, his lips curled back in a vicious snarl.

Reaction Round 2

Riposte Attack, Trident at Gorolach: Miss

Gorolach pulls back slightly out of the way. Ivor's trident passes by.

OOC:
I messed up: that Reaction attack was supposed to have been a Sentinel reaction to Gorolach attacking Maeriks. In my excitemeny though I sent the I'd prepared beforehand instead and tacked on a Riposte. No bearing on the narrative, Ivor still misses, but I could save a Superiority Die. If you rule we can't retcon, I wont argue. It was my fault anyhow.

OOC:
No that's fine. The Reaction is spent. The Attack is a miss.
But it is related to Sentinel, not a Battle Maneuver.
Keep the resources. You may need it later.
OOC:
What is Sentinel though? If anyone hits at someone else, you get a hit?
OOC:
Jabes, sorry bro. Going rules lawyer on you here - a rare occurrence. Sentinel says "opponent within 5' of you". I submit that TECHNICALLY Big Goro was NOT 5' of Ivor when he attacked Maeriks. Gorolach has a spear wielding capability to extend Locust spear Reach to 10'. That is how I envisioned him hitting at Ivor in the first place, since Ivor is halfway down the stairs. When Gorolach then turned to Shove and Attack Maeriks, he was back at his own "square". I can't rob Gorolach of his bought and paid for skills. Ivor was still back 10'.
I think the Reaction had to have been a Battle Maneuver used as a Reaction. Sentinel was not applicable right at that moment of TR2. It was a game of inches (feet actually), and I think Ivor was too far across the line.
Asshole DM.
But still open to counter arguments. Happily.

Was going to say yes but there may be a complication if Maeriks also has Sentinel (can't remember).
[ +- ] Sentinel
Seems kinda odd though that it's dependent on whether Maeriks is a Sentinel--shouldn't it depend instead on whether Gorolach is a Sentinel?

Oh crap. Forget it. Ivor was still 10ft away from Gorolach when Gorolach attacked Maeriks! Can't use Sentinel then. :-(

Already sent my BR2 action though. Action Surge to follow.

I think they are trying to guard against a huge line of guys, like a phalanx or shield wall, with the various rules on Sentinel unchecked would lead to every guy getting a Reaction attack every single round down the entire line if they are all Sentinels. Something like that has always been my suspicion.

DMJ says:
The girl pulls Rutcranna to her chest clinging to her, then looks longingly at her face, wiping the blood away from Rutcranna's nose and mouth with her hand.

"Mum!" she says again, voice crackling with an edge of fear.

Then the little girl's head pops up. She locks eyes with Kray, glaring at him questioningly, as if she had only just now noticed the Yuoric warrior kneeling beside her.

Her face is filled with worry and fright. She has bright green eyes.
Kray looked at the girl, and it him how much she is hurting. For a second Mozamyah went through his mind, the family he lost almost ten years ago. He looked back at Rutcranna, then back at the girl. "You're Sorcha, right? Your mom wants me to help get you out of here. Stay with me!"

With that Kray stood, bow in hand as he drew the string back, arrow already loaded and ready to fire. "Maeriks, get up!"

Going to launch a shot at the whorebarian shield barer by Gor (Documa?). Using a bonus action to Rally Maeriks and grant a temp hp buffer.

EDIT: Well CB, 5 extra hp is 5 extra.

OOC:
@DMJ Maeriks is at -3 HP now, and his CON modifier is 3. If my understand of the death rules is correct (I should know these better,
I have lots of practice) then Maeriks is cool, pretty much like he had 1 hp in normal D&D as far as operator functionality goes. Adding on temp HP, it is just temp HP and looks good. Actual magic healing would bring him up to 0 HP proper. Fuck ya, lets rock this shit.
Realizing his mistake in the most painful land dangerous way possible, Maeriks rises to his feet with an unintended assist from Gor as Maeriks grabs hold of the Lotus Spear while it is being withdrawn. Slick with blood, the spear slips out from his grasp, but no matter as it was enough. Maeriks stumbles past Gor and the shield maiden wall and takes a defensive stance behind Ivor. A terrible cry of pain is quickly stifled as Maeriks grabs hard at the spear wound, slowing the gouts of blood.

Thorn bounds up the stairs, drawing Urdav's Blade from behind him.

He sees his big friend go down, and his focus narrows on the brute before him. Gorolach. He surveys the man before him as he closes in, then brings his fury to bear on this child abductor, this arrogant fool. Justice for Sorcha. Justice for Maeriks. Justice for Urdav.
OOC:
Thorns is looking for a particular piece of jewelry, J, as he nears Gorolach.
Thorn hacks at his enemy, first at his left side, then at his right. He brings the sword around as if to strike at the left side again, but instead draws the sword to himself and thursts straight. Then, pulling the blade back, he aims for the neck.
OOC:
Two attacks, then burning Action Surge for two more, the first of which is coupled with a Feint.

OOC:
Assuming all of these hit, my math says 66 points of damage.
