OOC:

CB, in the shuffle of posting we ended up with this being a combat round in normal sequence. I feel like Maeriks could have easily laid in his healing spell in the moments just before the actual attack, and then could be ready for combat when the opponents crash in.

I'm going to proceed with Bad Guy Attacks for BR1 gradually, but if you want to send in a TR1 Attack you can. It can be inserted into the round no problema, though a bit out of sequence likely.

Also seems like Maeriks can be back behind women shields if he wants to use that Locust Spear Reach. Please describe to the crowd whether or not Maeriks is taking cover behind women. haha (couldn't resist)

In your defense CB, Lotus was the base plant of the primary Bat Hannoc javelin poison though.

Results of Opponent Attacks v. Bat Hannoc Women
R1

Boann is cut by the enraged monster-man's cruel sickle. The sturdy Bat Hannoc woman falters, but resets and stands to fight on.

Another Glaakieou madman stabs past Derry's shield, impaling her in the stomach. Derry crumbles in and falls to the ground.

The two Deep Ones grapple to take down Doirind. One wraps his arms around her and begins to drag her away into the darkness. She fights and kicks and screams. The other tries to take her spear but she wrenches it out of his hand. Doirind is pulled back out to the outer rings of the torchlight radius.
