Maeriks was completely robbed of that, in an unfair game mechanic. Not really a mechanic at all, just an overpowering capability of an opponent delivered by DM fiat.
Sorry, bro. You are probably going to be as frustrated with me as Maeriks is with Glaaki.

The swarm of raging masked madmen hurl their bodies against the front line, thrashing, chopping, and stabbing with all of their strength and fury, without any regard to their own safety.

The entire background of the room is dark in all directions. The only light is the dim cast of the candles on the floor. All that anyone can see is a wave of bodies, limbs, and weapons piling forward in full assault.

It is impossible to see numbers, but each defender is affronted by at least 3 attackers bearing down upon them.

Glaaki Pawn Madmen Attack with Reckless Attack. Gain Advantage, but open selves to Advantage Attacks against them until their next turn.

PC hits during TR X1 are applied against first opponent in each PCs opponent line up.

These opponents are completely covering up each PC. Each Attack during Round X2 for Front Line Squad can only be made against 1 of the 3 attackers who attacked the PC directly during BR X1. Choice of striking out against opponents in adjacent ally's "lane" is not permitted, with the exception of Reactions related to the Sentinel capability.

Boann and Doirind give loud battle cries and strike out relentlessly against the madman that are barely held at bay by the men in the front line.

Laoise fires arrows into the raging crowd.

Rhone's voice can be heard chanting in the background, her inflection aggressive and building up in power.

NPC Secondary Liners will get auto-hits during Round X1 in the interest of time, and because it is believable that they are poised to strike with Advantage at a mass wall of flesh that is focused on swarming the Front Liners.

Ox, if you get get free, have at it on Attacks with Advantage during Round X1.

I'll check back in the morning to see if you are on the boards. If not, I'll rig up some way to throw out some Attack Sandwiches from Brynn. I'll totally sift through your character stats, spying on your abilities. Some mismanagement is moderately likely.

Just kidding, bro. I know you're buried at work - will try to represent if I have to, but hope to see you soon of course.

Ivor and Thorn need opposing rolls to resist Grapple.

Anyone can inform me and the crowd if you have any remaining business by way of Reactions, etc.

Proceed as desired. We'll blend in leftover results of R1 above as necessary.
Remember attacks with Advantage.
Ox, you can proceed with R X1 and then keep on with another wave in TR X2 if you get on.

If I remember correctly, Kray does not have sentinel, so it's legal for Thorn to use it as a reaction against one of Kray's attackers? Disregard the sentinel roll if I'm out to lunch.
One of the Glaakieou rushes toward Kray and Thorn attempts to intervenes, but has to and then pulls back as a wave of his own enemies crashes against him. They come at him hard, and he is having a hard time deflecting their blows. He sees an opening, however, on one parry, and thrusts his blade toward the creature's face,. As it moves its weapon up to meet him, he flicks the giant sword down and towards its gut, then brings the greatsword around quickly at its side.

OOC:
Yes. I think Sentinel works fine like that at that position. I might have been reading into it, but I think that was the design of the lateral line-up on the front line, to have Sentinels off to the side to maximize Reaction options without conflict.

X, I've got to step away now, so not sure if I'm right on this, but check back through your rolls. I think you may have options for some rerolls. You already have Advantage against all of these guys. They are attacking with reckless abandon, neglecting normal protection and fighter defensive measures. That also may mean you save the burn of that Feint for Advantage. See what you think and adjust if there's something to it.

Sorry for the delay, and thank you for your patience
As the flood of mad men washes over the group Bryn looks up to where he saw the hole in the wall. The one that he desperately wanted to crawl into after looking at the Throne.

Fuck me... There's no hole there. What the fuck is this thing?

Bryn's attention is drawn back to the chaos at hand, he draws his kukri blades and slashes wildly.
OOC:
Bryn is going to attack at anything that might of been hit already taking Krays advice to try and finish targets off to remove them from the fight. If the first attack misses or the first strike doesn't kill it, he will attack with his off hand on the same target.

You're right, J, I think my brain was a bit fuzzy when I rolled this. I've edited a little into the narration, and since it seems like you're okay with it, I'm taking away the Feint damage. Thanks.

Since the Sentinel against Kray's attacker now hits, that's 13 pts against his Glaak, and 24 against Thorn's.
