White knuckles gripping onto the weapon that symbolizes the Norach, Maeriks stumbles forward, stepping over the Ulathi slain by Rhone. He steps next to Boann and clumisly thrusts at her Ulathi captor. His grip is too tight and the world still spins and swirls from his head wound, making his attacks slow and imprecise, but the distraction may just be enough to help the girl break free.

Round X3 (cont'd)

U4 takes Movement, withdrawing Grappled opponent towards the door.

U5 Reaction: Ready Action to Grapple (vs. Boann).
U6 Reaction: Ready Action to Attack with net (vs. Boann)

The Deep One who grips Boann drags her back into the crowd of its allies back at the entrance through the great door. Flailing wildly, Boann is able to push away another mongrel who gropes for her, but another wraps a net over her face and upper torso.

Boann disappears into the darkness of the hallway beyond the threshold of the door. Her screams for help ring through the room, for a few seconds.

Then they too disappear, lost in the noise of the commotion.

How the fuck are we going to pull this off? There's too many of them

Looking around trying to see through the mass of bodies and flailing madmen Bryn hacks at the Glaakieou while trying to tighten up the formation.

He keeps an eye on Rhone trying to protect the target and the reason why everyone is in this mess in the first place. Bryn swears at the Glaakieou in Dannien yelling obscenities while slicing with his kukri blades.

Bryn
Round X3

Both Attacks: Hit
Double Damage incorporated because of opponent condition

Bryn's first strike tears through the jugular and throat of one of the stumbling madmen, who topples over to the side several seconds after standing and bleeding in a stupor.

Bryn's offhand slash tears into bare side of the other masked man, leaving a large slice in the flesh and opening a pour of blood. The second man stumbles and shifts down to one knee to avoid falling completely, dropping his hand axe as he stabilizes.

The ground begins to quake beneath your feet. A loud rumble rolls through the room. The sound seems to be coming from everywhere at once.

Then a powerful boom sounds out even louder. Looking to the side of the aisle you see a great crack in the floor. Two cracks in fact as you glance left and right. Snapping through the stone as if it is brittle porcelain, fissures run through the floor following the lines of stone placed on the ground by Rhone and Thorn. The rune stones themselves snap and burst into tiny fragments.

The rest of the room trembles and tosses. Dust bursts into the air. Chunks of rock, some the size of bricks, drop down from the ceiling and crack on the floor.

The circular section of the stone floor that surrounds the throne in the center begins to crack and crumble. The entire floor is shifting and parts of it begin to crack and fall away, as if dropping into a pit.

Rhone shouts, "Hurry! Back to the circle!!!!"

The Glaakieou and the Ulathi stand in opposition. The leather and skin masked madmen are regaining their senses. Though still sluggish, they are readying their weapons to attack and steadying themselves to block the way.

Round X4 Open
OOC:
This is a big round, so suggest think wisely.
Requesting thorough description of all Action, including Movement intentions and any other goals or if/then type notes that you think necessary.
I predict that this series could be dependent on interaction from the group so we may just have to wing it loose on combining everything gradually, with some rewrites or follow-ups if necessary.
If you have any ideas to pitch or questions to ask, have at it. I want this to be as clear as possible.

Rhone
Round X4

Action: Attack G6

Seeing that the way is still obstructed by opponents, Rhone lashes out against the injured Glaaki pawn adjacent to Maeriks and Doirind. Her dagger dives into the broad chest of the masked man. He topples to the ground, his lifeblood pouring out.

Delaying description of Movement until after development of other Actions.

Note on Round X4 Opponents:
Attacks v. Glaakieou are no longer made at Advantage.
Their sluggishness is still not completely gone though. Exact condition and related effects remain unclear at this point, but expect their performance to be somewhat degraded.
Deep Ones are normal disposition.

Doirind
Round X4 (preparatory)

With Boann pulled away, disappearing into the mob, Doirind tears her eyes away and faces back towards the center of the room. Seeing the chaos around her and hearing Rhone's cry to return to the center, Doirind gathers close to Ivor. She places her hand lightly on Ivor's shoulder and brandishes her blade in the other hand, prepared to follow Ivor's lead on a forward charge with Sorcha Rhone back to the circular ring of runic floor markings.

One muscular masked madman (G7) is directly in front of them, blocking the way. Though wobbly, he is raising a heavy axe overhead, looking towards Maeriks and Rhone with murder in mind.

Actions delayed. Doirind awaits Action by Ivor and Maeriks and will support.

"Come on! Move!" Ivor roars as he surges forward and drives his shoulder into the waiting Glaakieou's breastbone.
OOC:
Shove Prone, leave it for Maeriks, move 30ft, draw OA's if possible so the women don't eat 'em.

Doirind
Round X4

Action: Help Ivor

Seeing the towering Glaaki pawn push back against Ivor, trying to stand its ground and bar the way, Doirind throws all of her weight behind Ivor and tries to topple the man somehow as Ivor strains to win the contest of strength.

She knows that they must break through if they are to charge forward.
OOC:
Doirind is betting it all on Ivor!. Jabes, throw out another STR Athletics for the Advantage roll. Number to beat is 14.

Need success here if the intent is to move straight down "Column C" on the grid.

If no success is to be had, we could discuss an optional break through a narrow opening on Column D, but that will be more perilous on OAs for Ivor and anyone who follows that route.

As Thorn lays the unconscious Laoise in the circle, he looks up and watches their objective wade out into the fray to begin striking at the foe.

Dammit, girl. Everybody into the circle, you say, just before dancing right out of it.

He would leap after her, but the two Glaakieou standing before him seem to be regaining their senses, and he doubts he could glide through them as easily as she just did.

Might as well carve a path for everyone.

Feinting a thrust, he then brings his blade down in two diagonal arcs on either of his enemy's shoulders, giving all of his attention to the mad creature before him and leaving the other to Kray's yatagan.
OOC:
Both attacks at G16.
Edit:
First attack hits, 17 points damage
Second attack misses

Thorn
Round X4 (Results)

Hit against G16

Thorn slashes into one of the Glaaki pawns right in front of him, just as the masked man is reaching down to the ground to recover his dropped axe.
The blow does not lay the madman low, but it cuts into him and makes him miss at recovering his weapon. The wildman swoons and focuses his attention on the man who just injured him.
