I have an idea!!! We should use these crystals to look through while attacking the medusa. They'll provide a medium between her gaze and our eyes. However, it'll probably make attacking her more difficult.
Nov 8, 2017 7:40 pm
Heartboiler huffs and hisses I can't hold a crystal and attack at the same time! She is standing right in front of the tunnel, ready to go in.
Nov 8, 2017 8:31 pm
Hssss, if you are here to try claiming my head, come in and face me, mortal scum! a dry voice hisses from down the tunnel.
Nov 9, 2017 12:58 am
wait i have an idea... but you probably wont like it heart. cemos begins to explain.
OOC:
so basically what i want to do is master blaster this combat. Ill be master and hearr will be blaster. Ill sit on her shoulders with the Crystal in one hand and shield in the other. We can use silk rope to blindfold her and i can tell her were to attack and how to maneuver during the combat. Dustin and bildaweer can shoot her from diatance and if she turns on them they can just pull up crystals to protect themselves until we get her threat again. What do we think

OOC:
i think's its hilair

OOC:
oh sorry! I read it and totally forgot to post!
As Cemos is explaining Heartboiler's face twists and turns into several levels of annoyance and respect. On the end she sighs heavily and sinks down on one knee, indicating to Cemos to climb on. I've seen you on combat, the Beard, and I trust your judgement. I don't like this plan a lot, but I do think it's the best we've had so far, tactically speaking. Now hurry up before I change my mind!

OOC:
Alrighty then, this will be fun. So, with this, I will say the following:
Cemos, it will take your action each round to maintain your stability on HB's shoulders. If you use your action for anything other than that, you'll fall off the whirling death dervish that is Heartboiler in a rage. The one exception to this is if you use your action to trigger your lay on hands.

Your presence doesn't provide any extra AC to HB.

Normally, I would say she has D/A on her attacks from keeping her eyes closed, but with your direction, she can make the attack as a normal attack (since your guidance would otherwise provide advantage).

HB is strong enough that there is no reduction of movement speed or anything like that.

be carefull of ball bearings. whispered.

Dustin will give a crystal to Stool. He will then close his eyes and go in to help flank with Heart.

Bildaweer takes a crystal into his left hand. He raises it to his eyes and looks through. He sees the distorted images of everyone. He stretches the fingers in his right hand and closes them into a fist. He then looks at Heart and Cemos and says matter of factly How ridiculous we must look? He then looks down the tunnel. His eyes are HUGE.

The only reason Dustin doesn't laugh is he wants to keep his position unknown.

He moves along quietly.

The second Cemos his beard grows on her face Heartboiler regrets the decision. There beard tickles a lot and she starts to make a weird angry snorting sound, trying not to laugh, right before sneezing. Then she bursts into a giggle fit for a few seconds, right before composing herself again with a low grunt. Let's get this over with! Tell me where to go!
OOC:
I'm assuming the beard covers her whole face, or there's something else covering her eyes?

OOC:
At this point you have a blindfold tied over your eyes, a dwarf on your shoulders, and a majestic Gimli-esque beard that falls nearly to your waist.
Dustin creeps down the hallway and sees the medusa standing at the mouth of her room with a longbow in hand, arrow nocked and drawn.

The rest of you start towards the hallway, with the very tall combination of Goliath and Dwarf leading the way. Cemos has to hunch over and hug onto Heartboiler's head to avoid cracking his skull on the rocky tunnel ceiling above. As you get down the tunnel, the Medusa launches an arrow, where it glances off Cemos's shield, clattering to the ground. Soon a second arrow streaks out, and through some preternatural instinct, Heartboiler turns to the side and the arrow flies by harmlessly.

Hssss, so you have come for me. You fiends know not what awaits you! she croaks at you before slipping to the side of the entrance in her chamber, disappearing from view.

Combat! - Bold below may act.
Dustin
Cemos
Stool

Medusa
Heartboiler
