Heartboiler, not really sure how do handle children, roars loudly, raising her arms above her head like a bear, when they reach for her legs.

She smirks when she sees the several weapon and armour vendors in the cavern, feeling comfortable with the crowd. When she notices the man that's probably Jarlep she strides over to him, bowing her head slightly as she stands close, towering over him. Are you the one they call Jarlep? The one that fought the oozes? Me and my friends encountered a few down here and my usual tactics don't work so well, cutting them in pieces doesn't kill them. I would be honoured if you would teach us how to effectively fight them, so we are better prepared when we try to hunt them down. Her head dips down even more and her eyes close, nothing but respect for the small man in front of her.

Bildaweer performs simple magic tricks for the kiddos making them laugh. He takes a look around at the vendors hoping to find any books with spells and incantations. A lively place. Wonder if there's any festivals or celebrations coming up? It would be nice to spend a bit more time with the folk, but alas I suppose we have a job to do.

Oh yes big lady, I am Jarlep. I fought those damned oozes, and I sure as the nine hells are bad won against them. You see, cuttin' 'em all depends on the type of ooze you're fighting ya see. If you find those flowy yellow ones, for example, slashing and lightning don't seem to slow 'em down at all. They'll actually split up into smaller versions of themselves if hit that way! Not only that, but the damned things don't hit any softer for being smaller. Squashin' 'em with a big maul or hammer works pretty well though. And keepin' yer distance helps a lot. They can't seem to notice anything more than about sixty or seventy feet away from 'em. It's why they like to hang out where people are gonna walk right by them, or through them. he says after a beat of looking up and down Heartboiler's height.

Cemos, as you look about, in conjunction with the information Jarlep has relayed, you notice that several of the weapons vendors around do have some heavy maul-type weapons for sale. One of the svirfneblin pokes his head out from behind a rack of weapons. I'll cut you a deal on new arms there Surfacer. Only twenty-five gold for a maul, forty for a nice warhammer. he says, smiling broadly at you.

Bildaweer, you don't notice anyone selling incantations or spellbooks around.

As you are talking, a human in a set of plate armor is escorted into the Caves by a pair of svirfneblin guards. This is the cave you'll be wanting. Armorsmiths and weaponsmiths both are in here. Again, we can't thank you enough for returning Stakurgh and Tazruk to us. the guard says in somewhat broken Common.

Enter Player 4! Misha, welcome to Blingdenstone.

The corners of Heartboiler's mouth curl up.Excellent... She shoves her hand towards Jarlep. My name is Heartboiler and I thank you, Jellyman, for your help. I used a maul for training back home, but I fear I might be a little rusty. What do you say we have a little sparring duel after I find myself a nice maul at one of these vendors?

The new arrival is short for a human and obviously female even under the coverage of a full suit of metal plate. Her helm is tucked under one arm, revealing a cheerful young woman with skin the color of coffee mixed with cream and the jeweled hilt of an ancient greatsword protrudes over her right shoulder.

"Thank you for the help friends" she tells the guards with a smile, before glancing around. "Could you point me towards which of these worthy craftsmen is the best weapon smith?" The fighter asks.

Misha spots the non-gnomes in the market immediately, and without being obvious checks the fellow adventurers out. Curious what brings strange folk like herself to the gnomish city.

When you post Tactic, right above the controls for the text box you'll see a drop down that is "Post As". You can choose your character there to have it post as Misha (complete with her avatar picture if you've uploaded one).

Bildaweer is an elderly deep gnome wizard. Home is Blingdenstone although he's traveled the Underdark quite a bit. A former teacher of the arcane, he has taken Dustin in as his pupil.

While looking around the cavern at the various weapons Heartboiler spots a female human with the hilt of a greatsword visible above her shoulder. Their eyes lock for a moment, Heartboiler trying to smile through her irritated mood. The tall goliath's interest is peaked by this woman, and she almost forgets Jarlep and her search for a mallet as she tries to determine how much of a match this human with the sword could be for her and Cloudstrike. Heartboiler waves once at the woman and Misha can see the tattoos that adorn her face spread all over every visible patch of skin. She turns back to Jarlep, the metal rings keeping the strands of her unkept hair manageable jingling as they hit each other. Her back is now turned towards the woman, with strapped to it a massive greatsword, stretching all the way from above her head down to her ankles, some runes carved into the blade. Other than the runes and the size of the sword there's nothing remarkable about it at first glance. On her belt hangs a full-grown ram's horn, from the looks of it used for drinking.
While she resumes her conversation with Jarlep Heartboiler flexes her muscles a bit, squaring her shoulders and standing straight and tall showing off her massiveness compared to the deep gnomes around, almost as if she wants to prove herself worthy of the human's attention.

Standing next to the goliath and currently trying to shake off deep gnome children from tugging on his beard is a mountain dwarf currently dressed in scraps of armor that have seemingly been piece together from whatever scraps he could find. On his hand crafted belt however is a mace that emits a faint green glow, suggesting that there is something more to it then just a simple weapon. And he is carrying a large metal shield, again to the trained eye you could tell it was not designed for a dwarf. Around his neck hangs a amulet depicting a mountain and hammer. He seems particularly concerned about keeping this away from the children currently trying to climb him like a jungle gym.

heart?!? cemos says as he looks up to the goliath with concern in his eyes. you have that look about you again. You know the one you get before you run off and challenge something or hit someone before you gather all of the information. Cemos looks over at where she is looking and notices the human among the crowd of deep gnomes. Maybe we should go introduce ourselves seeing as how we are all strangers here.

It seems that Misha is just as interesting to the strange group as they are to her, and when the tattooed Goliath waves, Misha waves back. Waiting to get the information she needs from the gnome guard, she thanks him again for the help before trudging across the busy street to chat with the adventuring party.

As the warrior draws closer, she seems all the smaller when compared to the towering might of a Goliath, standing not much more than a couple inches over 5ft tall you would guess. Slightly awkwardly in her new armour, the woman bows rather then curtsies' "Greetings Strangers" Misha's voice is soft but strong. Her Common is noticeably accented, a bold undertone with rolled R's that adds a sort of harsh melody to her speech. "My name is Misha'Na Tunannu. What a strange fortune, that so many surface dwellers have found themselves in Blingdenstone at the same time"

The gnome nearest to Misha chuckles to himself as Heartboiler and crew make their various acknowledgements of Misha's presence. Talk with Dargren, in the stall there if you need a weapon. he says, pointing to one of the stalls across the room.

Jarlep shakes his head as Heartboiler turns back towards him. Oh, um. I don't know. I'm sure you could - ah - you know - yes. I think we could maybe spar some. But you'd have to go easy on me. he says with a nervous chuckle, unsure about facing an actual combatant of her caliber.

Heartboiler, you can see some big hammers, meant to be wielded with two hands hanging from a few stalls. Additionally, there are smaller ones that are more like the weapons that Eldreth and Cemos have been using.

Well met Misha. I'm Bildaweer Brew. He is smiling as he says this. Whereas he is bald, his long white beard almost touches the top of his hardened bare feet. The small elderly fellow introduces his friends and tells the newcomer about their long and dangerous travels through the Underdark. The tale is long, hazardous and trying. Tears form in the corner of his eyes as he explains the loss, the loss of Eldreth and recently, Stool. Tell us what brings you to Blingdenstone?
Jun 10, 2018 12:01 am
A hand crests over Bildaweer's shoulder, grasping it, a face coming adjacent to the small gnomes. His question is asked openly, while his black eyes scan each person present "You said 'Misha', yes?"
Jun 10, 2018 11:37 am
Cemos being startled by the newcomer next to bildaweer steps back in suprise. by Dumathoins mighty beard where did you come from?
Jun 10, 2018 3:02 pm
Ba! Don't sneak up on the elderly like that! Bildaweer checks himself assuring himself that he still lives. Yes, it was Misha wasn't it? The deep gnome says to the woman. He then looks back at the newcomer, appraising him.
Jun 10, 2018 4:37 pm
Misha frowns slightly as Bildaweer's story is rudely interrupted by the strangers sudden arrival, as if from no where. But she nods after a moment. "My name is Misha, yes. What do you want?" She asks the stranger, looking him up and down.

Heartboiler chuckles at Jarlep, seeing Misha walk over. That's ok, Jellyman, I'll find someone more my size, if you're afraid.
She tries to smile at Misha again when she joins the crew, a weird lifting of the corners of her mouth that is as scary as it is happy, since it doesn't hit her eyes, which still stare slightly angry at the warrior.
Being very absorbed in Bildaweer's story the stranger's words startle Heartboiler immensely and she swings her arm out, straight over his head. What?! Her hand moves to the hilt of her sword, she looks around trying to find the enemy so she can take a swing at it, but sees that they are not quite under attack. She huffs, if her mood wasn't already sour it would be now. She lets the others talk, crossing her arms in front of her chest and staring down at the newcomer.
