When you deliver the bones to Jadger, he confirms that they are the friend of his that he sent you to find. It would certainly appear that he died. Though I was mistaken, for sure. My time as a ghost has muddied my sense of time, clearly. It would appear that he died in the invasion, as I did. I appreciate you bringing him to rest. You have earned the rights for a question about the city. Ask and I shall do my best to answer.

anyways do we only get one question DM? And if so what should it be group? I guess he may have an idea of how to stop the deamon "breasts" for entering our plane of existence. Or maybe a good place to start looking for those answers.

You do get one question, and remember, he offered an answer to a question about the city. Any of you can make a History check (Bildaweer at advantage) to see what else you may know of the city's history already.

WELL ALRIGHTY THEN!
Bildaweer, you pretty soundly know the history of your city. About 180 years ago, the drow invaded and slaughtered over 9000 of the svirfneblin that lived in the city at that time. It's only been in the last decade or so that the deep gnomes have started to retake the land that was once their home.

You know that Jadger died in the invasion, and it would certainly seem that his friend here did as well.

Bildaweer relates the history of the drow's invasion of Blingdenstone and the likelihood of Jadger and Glyphic's demise during that period.

OOC:
So uhm... Perhaps we can ask about some hidden passages? Routes they used in the old days that might still be there and helpful to get around quicker? I mean, I think it's pretty much the only thing Jadger would know that Bildaweer does not about that era?

Also, preeetty sure Glyphic isn't dead yet...

OOC:
I can think of any questions about the city i want to ask other then if he knows more about that damn statue with the sockets. I am good with secret passages. Or maybe any powerful relics left over from the war or anything like that.

Is Dustin still with us? What do he have to say on the matter?

OOC:
Some potential questions you may have (minor refresh of what you've seen so far):
The stone menhir and the sockets?
A question about the oozes (why they are all headed that direction, if his "ghost network" has any eyes there with information he could give you, etc etc).
What is the concern with wererats in the city?
If he knows anything of the statues of the drow and how they could be animated (especially knowing there was once a drow invasion).
Feb 8, 2018 2:45 pm
OOC:
I like either the one about the oozes or about the drow statues
Feb 8, 2018 4:19 pm
OOC:
I vote statues
Feb 8, 2018 6:26 pm
OOC:
I don't really have a preference, I think all of them could be interesting... Perhaps we should trick him into asking more than one question:-p? I mean... What has that guy planned that he only wants to answer one question anyway?! Ghosts.... Sigh...

So, yeah, statues^^

When you all put your heads together, Jadger stands looking at his ghostly fingers, as if inspecting the nails for damage. You break your huddle and in a simple enough query, ask We found a bunch of drow statues that came to life and attacked when we entered a room in the Rockblight. What do you know of them?

The ghost looks at you for a long moment, considering, remembering. Interesting. You say they were statues of the drow? That could be what happened to Neheedra Duskryn's expedition. She came during the invasion to steal the spell gems we crafted. She, and thirty of her strongest warriors took over part of Blingdenstone, slaughtering many deep gnomes that lived there. In her jealousy for our opulence, she struck a dark bargain and it twisted her. She turned her entire guard into statues. It would seem that Ogremoch's Bane has twisted them to its own purpose if they are animated. If you could somehow break all the creatures it controls there, a strong enough divine spell could force the creature back to its elemental home off this plane. he says, ghostly brow wrinkling. I'm sorry I can't remember more, time is a bastard.

a Devine spell you say? cemos ponders this for a moment. And what of these gems? Do you know what happend to them?
Feb 11, 2018 1:39 pm
OOC:
noob question here. Would this be any Devine spell or should I be looking for something specific?
Feb 11, 2018 1:43 pm
OOC:
There are a few specific spells that could accomplish the goal. You would need to make a religion roll to see if you have heard of any during your training times or find a priest that could provide you with the answer.
Feb 12, 2018 12:38 pm
As cemos thinks this over he tries to remember what his instructors at the priesthood talked about Devine spells, hopeing to recall something useful.

Useing inspiration religion check - (1d20+7)

Cemos looks to the group. these gems might be the ones we are looking for to fit in the odd statue. Jadger do you know anything about that statue? cemos asks as he does his best to describe it to the specter.

Jadger looks to you, and almost grins. The agreement was one question lord dwarf. I must tend to my other duties. If you wish to know more, you'll need to do more for Blingdenstone. he says firmly.
