First trick (Feat.): Choose one Fighting Style or Inspiring Word

(Fighting Style: The guardian has mastered a particular fighting style, giving him certain advantage in combat. The first time this trick is chosen, choose from the following options:
~ Defensive style: +1 to defense when wearing armor.
~ Dueling style: When wielding a melee weapon in one paw and no other weapons, damage rolls gain +2.
~ Great Weapon Style: When wielding a two-pawed melee weapon, a 1 on a damage die can be rerolled, but the new roll is final.
~ Protection Style: When wielding a shield and when an opponent attacks an ally within 5 feet of you, use a reaction to give the opponent a handicap (disadvantage).
~ Two-weapon fighting style: When wielding two light weapons, add a second melee attack.)

(Inspiring Word:
Using leadership and strength of personality, the guardian encourages allies to keep fighting. If the ally is within 60 feet and can see or hear the guardian, she can use a bonus action and speaks something encouraging, allowing that ally to immediately use a stamina die to regain stamina points. This can be used a number of times equal to the guardians Charisma modifier before the dog needs to sleep.)

Mutts aren't a collection of families, but a hodgepodge of dogs without any clear lineage. They don't have a history,
a pedigree, or even a common last name. However, crossbreeding between the various dog families and breeds has helped create diverse dogs that are able to survive a wide variety of dangers.

Example Families: None. Many are adopted into other families, either by one of the dog's parents or by a caring family.
Some of the free dogs have started to band together under the name "Mutt" to give them a sense of family and unit, but many free dogs refuse to use any family name.

Ability bonus: +1 to any two abilities.

First trick: Mutts can pick from any breed's first tricks (Puppy Dog Eyes, Hardy Constitution, Keen Observer, Voracious Reader, Speedy Runner, or Brute Strength). Let me know which one you want me to go into detail.

Second trick: If a Mutt takes a second breed trick, they must take it within the same breed group as the first trick.
